  1. thanks , but you may have jumped the shark on that last bit
  2. there's still the stench of theatrical pantomime about all of this. Pompous public postering.... private accord ( or agreement to do it) perhaps. Possibly too much to hope for.( sorry...got a good deal on 'P's" ) Seems to much like erractic overture
  3. point taken . Plan C it is.....make it so Dees ( all clubs were cleared by AFL to trade next seasons 1st Rounders...apparently.. Seems like on the fly revisionism to me...but hey that's Gil )
  4. what did he say ?
  5. bet you that page STILL had more manure and delusion than our 264 !!
  6. Im not too sure about their coach either
  7. can they sell the farm though ?
  8. My gut feeling says we'd take that. Its not what most wish for /want////blah blah.... but it IS TWO 1st rounders. Their first rounder will be a much better pick than ours next year
  9. I think that was reliant upon moore leaving. Filth have cap pressure im told
  10. I dont think it is their final offer.... But Melbourne ought to walk away.....unless something realistic comes in the mail....and by that realistic to whatever MFC considers so ( really...not publicly )
  11. Im thinking we have a plan B for May.Now is a good time
  12. Time to roll out plan B for May
  13. Welcome.....to......BLINK
  14. Three good answers. 1) yes....but we seem really rather keen...than just viably interested. Might just my take granted. 2 ) without doubt...they have their own way of dealing. Maybe they're far cleverer than we credit. It is after all about outcomes. 3) might well be the case. But don't seem the slightest interested. And 4) though it makes sense to stay quiet ....the silence from the Hogan camp sets new standards !! lol I somehow feel ..now... A revision to pick 5 ( if/when eventually theirs ) and a second rounder WILL be the deal. That might fly for all parties save 99% of Dland lol I thought originally a player would be involved. Maybe not now.
  15. There's something not quite right... surely. Love to know what . I ask myself....why ARE we now quite keen to see off Jesse ? Why aren't Freo so enraptured at having the opportunity ? Why isn't WCE sniffing at the door ? I'm not sure as to the nature of this animal ....not any more. I haven't been one to rate Hogan nearly as high as many, but that aside this offer is below low ball. Ambit for sure...but still. There's dealing...and there's poking the bear. Very odd
  16. Ah... someone's suggesting an interesting idea. You'd have to think this is a possibility. Unlikely...we would all have thought once. Something not quite right here. But is it the offer ?

Possibly...but what was anyone really expecting ? An injury plagued and inconsistent non best 22 player on the fringe. Good luck Kent
  18. Fun and games...fun and games. Freo going hard .... at making friends
  19. Steve... you're taking things at face value. A noted author wrote once: "Contradictions don't exist. Whenever you think you're facing a contradiction, check your premises. You will find one of them to be wrong" This is no different. Logic suggests not everything, if anything , is as it's suggested.

One might hope there's no shlt in any cheese you made
  21. Only 76 pages to go...come om Deelanders !!
  22. Two predictions: 1: Demented souls outpouring bile as Dees announce a trade that meets with practically no Dee supporters expectations ( unless you're like me and guage by outcomes, overall, not swapping marbles or footy cards ) 2: nobody will give a flying @#$& when we hold up the cup in a year or two.
  23. Every year
  24. Must be for you as for all your chest beating and broughahas you seem oblivious to the point. You don't know what cards the club holds...or what it has half a hand on via other tentative deals but it's all about those magic numbers You presume what certain picks will garner in other trades then call prematurely on something not even done yet. Trade period is like playing darts with a revolving board. It's a fluid environment where very little is fixed.
