Good to see someones paying attention to the real issues. If we have PSD #1..we dont have to sacrifice any second ..or such round picks in trades for anyone we want out of PSD.. Gives us a very much better situation. Stikes me strange ( and yet not ) that so few grasp this. Put simply..it makes our life easier

Theres a bit in this I think. Come time to start for real the GC 'whatevers' are going to want to be at least a little bit competitive or theyll die the death of a thousand cuts up there. In order to do so they must use their ONLY currency to achieve players..and that is trade picks. I think it'l lbe an interesting market where an astute club wil come away better !! Look if some players go..they go..get over it.Wed al llike out favourite sons to stay and shine...but really I couldnt give a rats..I only want a TEAM to do well..who that comprises of I care not..!!

Yes.. I like the idea...far too logical for many though. I miss that particular KB show..who was the nong who suggested Geelong ? A prize idiot if ever one !! I really like the idea of pursuig some low attnedance games at a venue that suits us..( and us in all our longer term goals ) why stuff around with 10000 or so ( if that ) at Manuka.. when we can get more to a boutique venue of our own ?..

I quite like the idea of aborting Bubbledome. Its whole premise came unstuck and is haemoraging costing us money. On the surface a nice idea whose time has played out. However..the last time I looked the MCC not Us were in charge of the MCG regarding whether or not we make money out of attendances. Simply closing off a section doesnt get any more into a ground.

Consider....he would have nothing to write about if we as a club werent providing his material !!! No doubt about it..the MFC is cementing itself again as the butt of humour.

It does rather doesnt it... smell of things AFL !! I think what manyare missing here is that a more than adequate proprietary process was utilsied to select and appoint a professional into a senior position within the club. All above board. The various parties had their opportunities to raise and substantiate their thinkings etc. In complete contrast to this...all in shady corners and stinking of subtefuge we have the sacking of the same said person by a bopard who have never been put to the test of the constituents. You have to wonder who would in their right mind put their neck out to be his replacement ?? Weve gone from a club where standards are used to one where its becoming all a "Buddy buddy boys affair" with no accountability. If I were Paul Mac Id be grabbing the money quickly and running as far as I could. Hes done nothing wrong from what I can tell. Mr Stynes and Co. had better deliver big time otherwise there will be an exodus from this club that will prove fatal. Why can I hear a snigger from Vladland !!

Yes..Im consistent arent I Have no doubt we have a coup. We have NO idea of what is happening other than a 'person's" agenda. We have NO idea what this is. Possibly in answer to your question this person ought to be transparent with his manifesto instead of us all being in the dark and taking it on spec. Maybe Jimmy could have told us his intents. He has told us NOTHING !! Maybe he can explain to we the members exaclty why Macca didnt fit the bill.. what he was doing wrong.or not congruent with his ( Jimmy's ) vision of or forward progresson !! Why should I or anyone take it at face value when that has NO value whatsoever. This is hardly an everyday occurrence is it. He just put us a further 115,000 in debt..!!! for what?? This is not MYER or some Private Company..It exists by and for its members. No one expects the day to day tribulations to be aired. mate...I am fairly entitled to voice my disgust at the way things have been going. The style of managment at MFC in recent times makes any voting participation in this club moot. You may not consider that an impoprtant element of membership but I do. I dont expect to be involved in everyday events.. but the ursuping of a Chairman..and the wholesale sacking of the clubs CEO..arent everyday. You seriously think someone who can run the Aussie Open has no clue ?? This is all about personalities and 'behind closed door" politiicking . I though this club had grown up from this.

Interesting...we've gone from a club where things were done fairly much up front. Where the Chairman was somewhat transparent with intentions and everything seemed above board....to this.. Coups.. dismissals via fait accomplit agendas...plans that arent plans..just a "concept" to reduce debt..( rocket science that bit ) and then increases it by having to pay out another contract. So are we again sailing with no direction. Has there always been a new CEO in waiting.. is this just compounding sculduggery ? Geez youd want to think twice before working for Melbourne at this rate!! Well Im seeing a lot of hoopla...and very little else. It wants to get better than this Mr Stynes !! edit : addendum.. How lovely all this fiasco is caused by a group nobody has actually voted in !!

I would draw attention to the sloppiness of reporting for its contribution but it may quite be that what they are alluding to is some little scheme hatched by the MFC uncumbents . On one hand we have a "legend" coming aboard promising to save this club..and by golly I hope hel heps to. We also have this with No apparent plan really...just an ambit claim to reduce debt as though by some amazing magic none of knew that was the problem. Does Jimmy have plans to replace the CEO ? Is this to be another fait accompli.. for as a MFC member Im getting a little tired of this modus opperandi !! Are there plans afoot by some sculduggery to increase our On-debt incurred by continual 'realeasing of personnel ?? Im beginnig to sense that maybe Sheahan's motive was to force something into the open.

Amen there Fatty... I agree Sheahan is very wide and loose with his inuendos, not really like him I would have thought. I still smell a rat. I dont have a problem getting mentoring or help or advice where required. Its just good practice really. I am surprised we have that much money though. As does it with much crime...it goes to motive, outcomes and who beneifits from opportunites. Much about this doesnt make a lot of sense, that is..the besmerching not the realities. <_<
