Has anyone done the numbers around the draft positionsnof the Lever trade if we finish 2nd or 3rd and the Crows finish 9th-10th? i did a ladder predictor and I reckon the Crows could miss the 8.

I’m going this weekend, it’ll be my first Docklands game in at least 3 years.

Terrible scheduling for free-to-air TV. Terrible commentary teams also makes it very hard to watch.

Neither of these teams look great. The doggies are a shadow of the team that won the flag two years ago. They look unfit. Pies look the better side but surely we have them covered.

We beat them in Adelaide last year without Gawn and Hogan. They were at almost full strength from memory. We can beat them on neutral ground with a near full strength side. i still think we’ll win by 6+ goals.

I know someone who works closely with him at ACA. Prefer others is all I’ll say.

Will play his 250th next week v the Bulldogs barring an injury. Touch wood?

I take an interest in some of the footy mathematical prediction models, to see how we are stacking up against other teams in systems based on number crunching. One that I keep an eye on is Footyforecaster, it’s been measuring data since 2000. Our current ranking is 19.89 which in itself is just a number, but it’s our 2nd highest rating in 18 years. Interestingly, the highest rating for the MFC is 22.62 which was after the 2000 Prelim Final. We’re going OK.

Anyone know Jack Martin’s contract situation?

Sunday’s team will be pretty close to our best 22 IMO. Kent the only one missing due to injury and he would be borderline. I’m guessing Garlett comes back in.

Giants falling into the same “bomb it into the forward line trap” against the cats. Nice to know we’re not the only stupid ones.

Giants are way off. Very fumbly. Can’t see them kicking enough goals.

I suspect Oliver’s slight drop off last week and Brayshaw’s improvement was tactical. IMO we’d become too Oliver centric at Centre bounces and he was running more decoys. With Brayshaw being the intended go to mid. With Viney coming back next week I see greater domination in the middle.
