  1. Exactly IHW, the idea should be to minimize interpretation and have umpires guessing player motives like a judge.

Yeah it's difficult to argue with really. He instantly goes to another level when he gets some sort of running game. Despite his off showing yesterday I am very keen to see what Brady is like this year with some decent receivers for a change.

Rodgers was amazing. I've been using lack of pre season as one of the factors for QBs under performing but he didn't even need one, one of the best pure arms I've had the privilege of watching.
  4. I just watched it again (Thanks to Stats pro, cheers again for this gamechanger), and you're right Ling was just as bad. "Under enormous pressure with Daniels in the area". Firstly I'm not sure if Daniels was as close as they thought unless he was on the other side of the boundary line. Then there's the terrible call by Darcy "Greene, gains a few metres for his team" give me a break. Maybe in 2005 that would have been a territory gainer but you've had more than enough time to get used to those tactics being a thing of the past. I might be a bit off track but I just feel the ball going over out on the full makes a better case for deliberate, I didn't think he was slung around in the tackle that much that it affected his handball, gotta disguise it better if you're going to do that stuff.
  5. Is this the thread to come to for finals ticket info and scabbing membership barcodes? :p
  6. No point even turning this time waster of a game on

Spot on Demondave. No Deebo, Aiyuk, Richie James getting inured early, same with Kittle. I'm not a fan of Dante Pettis at all and he wiffed his big chance today. Definitely a few soft calls, that slide was murder. Jimmy G very underwhelming as well.
  8. Drop punts get goals!
  9. Wow, just had to play didn't he.
  10. I used to like Mummy back in the Sydney days, was quite the hitout merchant and really helped them to that flag in 2012, but he's clearly past it and resorting to some other methods in his twilight. He isn't the first and won't be the last. I did like seeing Trac get stuck into him shortly after the Clarry episode!
  11. Yep, the waffle on was embarrassing on Sat night. One thing Richo tends to do a lot this year and it's getting pretty irritating is he gets a bee in his bonnet about some decision that was made and harps on for a while and when you think it's finished on it's own volition and the subject and play has changed you can literally feel he's going to chime in again and show his frustration and [censored] a dead horse on that stupid point, of course he does. The example being the deliberate by Toby Greene and how 'that's not what the rule was brought in for' and a minute later 'that's not deliberate'. For what it's worth I don't see how a handball that goes out on the full with no teammate their isn't deliberate.
  12. Thank you thank you thank you I could not agree more it's been an absolute joke this year. That injury and the play going on infuriates me every time it happens. And that GWS kick in that ended up out of bounds and they didn't seem to have any vision of it? What was the deal with that? My dad was asking what happened and it's hard enough explaining in a normal game let alone when one is as tense as that one.
  13. Honestly I couldn't give a rip either way. Would prefer it when things are up and running again but that's not going to happen so not going to waste energy of moaning about it or whatever. Reading these comments and hearing what everyone is saying it was always going to be the case where opinions were split. Some people lost their jobs and are sick of being at home so it's not a break for them, some people are lucky to still be in their jobs and some people I know have been absolute flat chat and are probably looking forward to a long weekend, some people are working in essential services and are holding everything together and to say they deserve this is an understatement( if nothing else I say just do it for these people). Some people might just want to mentally shut off from their job, everyone has a different situation and plenty of different reasons. For myself, I am still working with my hours cut and at home, we've had massive drop off in productivity and all round motivation is down. I don't see much benefit to having a day off personally, if I have a day off work or a long weekend I'm not all that interested in spending it at home. I'd prefer to be getting outside or going away somewhere, that's what I feel I need right now. But that's just my situation and I would be more than happy for the people craving it to get it.
  14. The frustrating thing is even if we just won a couple or even just one of the games we should have things would be so different! The smaller details matter and it's something this club never seems to grasp.

Wow nice way to wreck a morning! Got sliced by Deandre Hopkins all morning and when Kittle got hurt did nothing after. My expectations are tempered this year though, I think it's going to be real tough to win the division and can even see us finishing 4th with a winning record.
  16. What a joke
  17. Just beat the bombers and walk off with Mankind's (Mick Foley) music going off as we walk into the sunset.
  18. How cool would this be - Trick play where the kick in guy plays on out to the left but there's a runner coming by in the opposite direction who takes a quick handball and transfers play out to the other flank, then another one straight back the other way like a HB sweep then reverse! Oops forgot where I was!
  19. I think the original idea of 1 year low money makes sense. If wants to test the market so be it.
  20. Pretty glad not to be running into Adelaide, although it probably doesn't matter who we play next week.
  21. Beautiful day. Life is ok for the moment!
  22. 3 hrs on and yes it does still feel just as good as it did when the siren went!
  23. We've got one game left for the season mate, what's the point? Win or lose wouldn't you prefer to back the guy in and get another game into him in prep for next year? I know I would.
  24. Will have to see that
