Not Crap at all. The only way we will play that brand of footy that gets us up the ladder is to be a strong & united club That has a jumper players will put their entire bodies on the line for. Turn on the NRL and each week clubs are wearing different coloured jumpers-i have no idea what team is what 80% of the time. And they wonder why the entire code is going broke!!! Alternative strips are a way for the AFL to dilute loyalty (slowly but surely) which is what they are doing to North Melbourne if you look closely. That club has been pushed into a corner & they know it. Look at their draw-Home games against all the interstate clubs, no Blockbusters. Every game under 20,000 at Etihad costs them. Now is the time for the MFC to stand firm.

Seems to me he only plays a commanding role against weaker sides. This has got to stop or else he can leave through the side door The MFC does not have room for passengers anymore-Maybe Colin Sylvia needs a good long Heart to Heart with our President. The word passenger would not exist in Jimmy's Book.

We should play each other in the traditional strips. I have never mistaken an essendon jumper for anything more than what it is...Putrid.!!!

It's not about $$$$ it's about this club standing up for what we play for & believe in. This club has been pushed around for too long. The only way this club will consistantly rise up the ladder is to stand united & strong without the lure of paperbags and suitcases.

I am glad we now have tough games. No place for egos or complasecency. Time for some of our Leaders to Put up or Go. At least we won't be favorites for anything over the next 6 weeks. Time for Hard Work Melbourne Demons. If we can generate the same intensity as we did in Round 2 then 4-5 games in our next 6 are winnable. But on yesterdays form not in a million years. I spoke to some mates who went to the Filth v North Game at the G last Saturday night, where i think 52.000 were at. They guessed about only 5,000 were North Supporters. As a club they are struggling-they have a profile coach and Prez with some good kids, but nobody is going. They are going to really struggle next year and beyond. They missed the boat in my eyes.

The worst thing about yesterday was that after half time nothing changed. The coaches box is too busy rotating the midfield & thus cannot coach with a lot of strategy. It's a hard one to find an answer.

No i think Dean Bailey will learn a lot from yesterday. And i will be very interested as to what he says on ONE HD tomorrow night-The whole club does not switch on when we are favourites. This issue is something that Jimma & Chris Conolly must address this week. I am actually glad the team is off to Darwin this week. Time to leave the comfort zone and learn to sink or swim real quick.

Jack played a good game today. His contested Marks were great, must learn to run harder to create a target, but this will happen in the coming weeks i have no doubt. Keep working hard Jack.

We were out coached today. The chemist did his homework. Thus our players were reactive from the first bounce. Disappointed mostly that after half time nothing changed. Bailey & co need to really put in this week, as we are too easily read. Every player on the ground was hesitant today apart from Bennell & Junior. That performance by the club is just not acceptable. Charlie Watts was ok today, but even he had no idea how to attack the eagles when he got the ball-his contested marks though were great.

Over the next 2-3 years ALL clubs including the MFC will lose some players to the northern states. It's the way the whole system has been set up. I hope Ricky stays but if he decides to go home-That's that. The MFC must Fight for compensation You may feel it a tradgedy. Its not. It's business FWIW i think Ricky will stay-but someone(s) will go. Over the next decade-each year players will come & go. As long as the Core is Tight we will be ok. B)

Don't rush him Cam, i spoke to Nathan Brown (Richmond) last week-Good Bloke, he still gets a bit of pain in his leg, so he will probably have to always manage it. As he was still young and growing it should not effect his Pace or performance. Just a little more mental toughness to forget any aches he has.
