  1. Vlad has said that a couple of times now. Did you hear that, Kennett?!!
  2. I picked 'other'. The poll does not include names such as Newton, Sylvia, Davey, Green, Robbo and Watts......I think one of these will pop up.
  3. Hi Andrew, Congratulations and well done mate. .. sensational....and thank-you for your initiative! Kaspersky and the Demons! Hope it is the start of something great for both parties! Garry as Borat in a green mankini.....not a bad idea..hehe Good point D'land.
  4. Bloody hell  (excuse the language)
  5. We need a classier midfield with many "strings to the bow" (ie goalkickers) and a prominent forward or two that will kick more than 50-60 goals a season. Doesn't necessarily have to be a 100-goals-a-season standout.
  6. Says 24,201 for me. I did a check on last years post after the family day in 2008. On March 18, 2008 the tally was 20,381. nearly 4,000 more than the same time last year. Link: March 18, 2008 edit: It is pretty cool how it updates, cheers for that Mousey.
  7. Pleased to see it over 24,200 at March 18. Go Dees! Anyone know what the clubs tally was at before the bounce of Round 1 2008, it would be good to compare next week?
  8. That's fine, you made your point. But there is no need to refer to Mousey as an "idiot." So it was a shot at him in that sense, Demonic1964.
  9. Still got time to re-evaluate mousey.
  10. I wonder if he nominated himself...........
  11. I will be your first member, but it will be a hard nut for him to crack.
  12. Love the Jared Rivers 'Alive and Kicking' Tracker......very good. Spoke to him, he's all set to go. So.....cross your fingers. And everything else for that matter.
  13. Nice one.
  14. Thanks RudeBoy for your support. Fantastic. I wish Liam Jurrah all the best in his endeavours.
  15. Bruce Doull and big Carl Ditterich wore headbands Condemned..
  16. Probably just a symbolic thing with the "Number #1". On ya Barrass!
  17. Got to give the bowlers a rest. Apparently the run ups were creating problems for the bowlers becaues of the rain. Besides we've pretty much won anyway. Batting again and posting a massive lead, puts QLD out of the game totally Titan, what a lead of 400+ with more runs this morning, they won't make the runs, almost impossible. May as well bat until lunch then send QLD in with a lead of over 500. Well done Vics, you deserve it. edit: - Just checked baggygreen. QLD have been sent in with a target of 592 from 67 overs remaining in the day. The VICS declared at 282/5 in the second dig. With Nannes in find form we will probably win anyway 'outright' with him taking 5 wickets.
  18. Saw him at Luna Park on Sunday, can't wait to see him play. He had a massive smile on his face, he was handballing footy's to improve kids skills along with Cale Morton -with hundreds of kids.

    TEAM 4 RND 1

Definitely needs to be more spontaneous with the pill.
  20. Midfield? Not so sure about his future in the midfield. Does he have the necessary engine for that? Hmmm. A positive: Perhaps whilst he has a pin inserted, Bell can take the opportunity in rehabilitation to brush up on his awareness with the ball in his hands Ie. Peripheral vision. That might do him some good. edit: An injection of confidence might help him make decisions quicker when in possession and may prevent him getting caught so often.
  21. Jimma's just wanting to unite all of Melbourne via inviting past presidents so hopefully what has happened in the past can be cast aside to show that all in sundry are behind the one thing we all and the past presidents have in common. That they all follow and want to support the Melbourne Football Club. Good on Jimma for "doing so".

    CAMPAIGN'S END

31 scoring shots to 13. Comprehensive despite trailing by not much (2 points) at 3/4 time.
  23. Every bit helps. Please, by all means feel free to assist in any way when you feel like rolling your sleeves up.
  24. An injury free Rivers, could see Garland spend some time up forward. That is if Warnock, Martin, Frawley and Rivers are cohesive with Whelan, Bell or Buckley etc and doing well. Like you say, if we're lucky enough to have that dilemma. I think we'll see a season of many variables up forward, many "suck it and see" alternatives and rotations before the coaches get the formation(s).
