  1. I'm sure the AFL Ethics Officer wouldn't let that happen (cough cough)
  2. so, pakistan it is (or bangladesh).
  3. is it decided by the public votes, the judges or a combination of the two? i seem to remember that last year the final decision was up to the judges
  4. definitely a cunning man that ling(us)
  5. So, name all the coaches in the history of the afl/vfl who have won premierships at 3 different clubs
  6. yes but i didn't know you could pass for mort's brother you really should get onto the carbs
  7. always wondered what you looked like rpfc - LOL
  8. so for "injury payments" (i.e. lost match payments) the club is responsible insurance for this is not mandatory as the club can pay it out of TPP (and it is not necessarily 100% of contracted payment) do you read this too?
  9. and the due diligence
  10. yea, it's a toss-up with the regular season
  11. but i thought we were talking about income protection insurance here, not injury treatment payments/insurance i.e. it was stated that insurance could pay out someone's contract obligations. This is what i was saying would be prohibitive premiums if we are talking of something else then i withdraw
  12. I think you will need to repeat it another 1,000 times, sadly, bub takes a while to settle into some brains around here
  13. I would imagine that premiums for such insurance in this type of occupation would be prohibitive There might be some form of self insurance pooled between clubs by the afl but it would be limited
  14. because that would be a condition on him pulling the pin otherwise he simply wouldn't pull the pin redleg's idea is better pay him for next year (as contracted) but give him a non-playing role as in coaching, mentoring or something else he gets his money and experience in his next phase of employment - win/win
  15. Why does this thread even exist? And why do posters give it oxygen? oooops....sorry
  16. nothing stopping both parties re-negotiating terms and conditions happens all the time e.g. front or backend loading changes, pay cuts etc many premiership hopeful sides have agreed to pay cuts to allow room for a prominent draft signing as long as both parties agree its all kosher
  17. Doc I think it is presumptuous to assume that the "MFC would do the same" That may be what you think you would like them to do....not necessarily what the club would in fact do They would face the same risks as gws/gcs and it would depend where they rated the player It's just not all that obvious
  18. and all the niknat cheerleaders here don't vote for him to prove a point. eh rangey
  19. Howe's biggest risk is if his votes get split between option 1 and 2 seems posters prefer opt 1 therefore best if everyone sticks to opt 1 even if unsure between 1 & 2
  20. Ben, not believing Sheahan as a reliable source, and believing that Sheahan is not a genuine MFC supporter is not necessarily 'hysterical' He can say what he likes, make as many headlines as he likes, break as many exclusives as he likes, as long as he drops any claims to be an MFC supporter I don't even care if he has an agenda or not, he can just eff off.
  21. anyone know the circumstances?
  22. Can't we just DELIST him? He's just a sniping, ungrateful, disloyal list clogger How about a poll on this rangey?. Something important this time, huh?
  23. Wow. WC smashing Norf in first Q. Brad using Chris's cheat sheet? Those boys we passed on (you know who)ripping it up
  24. lets hope the reality bus is better than Priscilla's Queen of the Desert one
