I'd have to go for a (pre-knee) Schwarta. At least for the post 60's era Doesn't do much for our mid-field but -

I do and I am. That is why I (and so many others) was so happy to see Gardiner get the boot And that is why I will do everything i can to see he and/or his quisling cohorts don't get re-elected That clear enough Hazy? -

for someone who doesn't have an agenda you have an odd way of operating 'from the mouths of babes' Oh, and maybe you didn't notice at the time how happy the mfc supporters (the real stakeholders) were to see Gardiner go -

EPIC FAIL The Club > The Board Andrew Newbold - President Andrew Newbold is a lawyer with over 20 years experience in practicing law. He was a founding Director of a renewable energy business which he sold to Origin Energy at the beginning of 2009. Since that time, Newbold has been pursuing a variety of business interests. Andrew has served on the Hawthorn Board since 2003. He was instrumental in negotiating the Club's move to Waverley Park and was elected as President in 2011, succeeding Jeff Kennett. -

Did you notice any signs of tanking being practised at training? I assume that is why the media were in force -
That is actually very debatable The reality is the AFL decided to turn a blind eye to it for whatever reason One supposed reason was the AFL felt they had been too harsh on carlton over the salary cap punishments and this was a way of squaring up so to speak They had the power to disallow the visy ruling as being outside the cap as the rules stood then but decided not to Just another example of AFL meddling and bending the system to suit as it pleases them

Reality, Truth, Tanking and Corporate Ethics I doubt any philosopher could adequately define them and their interactions But a quisling like you is easy to define -
I think the "within" may be a problem bub There are factions that want the club punished for their own gain so they can enact a takeover And they call themselves supporters I don't like it and it won't go away...............we are a fractured club

What's the AFL Definition of Tanking?
daisycutter replied to Disco Demons's topic in Melbourne Demons
During WWII tanking generally meant you were pretty serious about winning. Well Guderian did anyway. -

If there is disunity Hazy it's more likely caused by fifth columnists like you and your pals who have no intentions of ever being inclusive

I think disgruntled factions running to the media whores for the last few years have a bit to do with it too redleg No wonder we struggle with culture with such "supporters" in our ranks

Caroline Wilson's descent into gutter journalism
daisycutter replied to titan_uranus's topic in Melbourne Demons
People like Wilson, Denham, Healey etc have been fed inside or false info for a few years now aimed at destabilising the club I hope these people are not friends of yours Hazy People who use a shotgun in a crowded room to target individual enemies end up hurting the club and a lot of innocent and good people more These people also claim that they have the club's interest at heart PigzArz - pure personal power agendas I will be closely watching the next takeover group. I think I know who will be in it -

Didn't know this was a legal issue (yet). I thought it was trial by media and AFL Wonder what Eddie would be doing Don't we have a top media guy on the board (Russell Howcroft). Is he doing anything? -

Go and read Patrick Smith in the Oz for a slightly different perspective of trial by media
