the overwhelming number of good players who change clubs do so to go to a club in a premiership window of course there are exceptions but they are the minority i don't see where all these good mids are and if they exist why would they go to mfc there might be some good second tier ones not getting an opportunity who we would pay overs for but they are still high risk fa works against the lower clubs and compensation is deliberately poor i don't expect to get much long term quality out of either trades or fa

interestingly both sides had a low (<70%) disposal efficiency % surpisingly Hawthorn's was actually slightly lower than Dockers, but Hawks efficiency for scoring was obviously better (especially when you factor in Fro's out-of-bounds attempts) Some of it can be put down to pressure but the strong winds played a big role
