funny thing just happened
i've been on the new site all day without doing anything special
i just refreshed my demonland screen and up popped the old site with the message
doesn't bother me but just strange
regarding last year
i don't understand the logic of "netting" out FAs as was the case with Byrnes
this cost us a lot
if a side gets a FA but doesn't lose a FA (like Freo currently) there is no penalty
yet last year we got a penalty for getting a FA (Byrnes)
that to me is illogical. Some get penalised for getting a FA and some get no penalty for getting a FA
solution. don't count getting a FA in all cases.
compensation given on a per player lost FA
so last year we should have got 2 compensation picks based on circumstances of each player
just my 2c
the video is more about dns searching and address resolution rather than than propagation (update) of new server name addresses
but anyway....it was cute
i'm not sure that isps have any control over this demonland because its an automatic process
bigpond might seem to take longer because they are the biggest isp and therefore have the most dns servers to be updated
correct - you just explained the difference perfectly - you should have been a teacher not a farmer
alpacas share barnwidth
servers share bandwidth
next question
maybe if you ignore a problem and put your head in the sand the problem will go away?
but yes it is very strange it has not been a hot topic of discussion in the media
you are just stating the obvious
problem is we are in a catch22 situation which is becoming moreso
without a list we are nowhere
if (and it is a big if) we can work our way out of this it will take years and years and years
at the moment there is a just faint glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel
and the afl commission says we don't need a pp because our list is very promising
what does that tell you about the genuineness of the afl's equalisation intentions
they are only interested in maintaining our pulse and keeping us alive on bread and water to satisfy the broadcast deal of 9 games a week
