the other problem with mu campus is there would be almost no room to expand and stay together the club must be about 100+ now it's not inconceivable that this could grow to 200 in 10 years time then there is new facility requirements. what if all the clubs started building an essendon style indoor "hangar" facility etc even if we could fit into the campus which i doubt we would be backing ourselves into a corrner

you could get frog to design a new jumper with totally new colours and one that wouldn't need a clash jumper we could even rename the demons to the jollies (after jolimont)

i don't mind an association with the uni but i can't see how it offers the physical facilities required for an afl club without completely compromising its already extremely limited on campus sports facilities and space

you do realise there is just 1 oval in the whole campus.....yes, just one you think the uni would give up their one on site oval? currently the uni also utilise a number of grounds in the Princes Park area (carlscum). that would be a good look if they offered one of those!

and where would you get parking for an extra 100+ people? would need a decent sized car park for the players to practice their doughnuts where would the uni blacks and blues train. and the uni cricket and athletics teams. there is one oval and one hockey pitch for 10s of thousands of students
