yeah the afl do "seem" to insist on white shorts however looking at nrl and a-league away strips they do allow non-white shorts and i personally think that makes a huge overall visual difference (favourably) my main objection to the white afl style away strips in the sheer amount of white and allowing coloured shorts would be a good move check out some of the nrl away (clash) strips and you can see the big visual difference
