WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
daisycutter replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
yeah, nah changes at the qtr break are almost meaningless especially at 1/2 time the qtr break is effectively an interchange break in itself for all players and longer than the average interchange bench time -
doubt he'd take them home, red, more likely a cheap motel
-
ok, so the difference arises with cat b rookie, but only if they do promote him
-
yeah, i know, but there are still restrictions for everybody on total list size and total playable size if ess promote >2 rookies and recruit 10 top-ups then surely a top-up has to go on the rookie list?
-
can someone explain? ess lose 12 can pickup 10 = net loss of 2 port lose 2 no pickup players = net loss of 2 yet port claim they are 1 worse off than ess

i'm confused now. how could gill lose something he never had? -
the toadstools.....hmmm....i like it wayne, great idea
-
technically you're correct but i think a lot of the media already have him pegged as marquee
-
good catch, moonie. i wondered where biffo had disappeared to.

well i'm not suggesting that someone that high could play sport, but just the fact it gives a user greater strength and courage, so at a lower dose it could help and the person still be aware enough to play a physical sport. Soldiers are known to be administered controlled doses of amphetamines by their superiors in situations where decision making is still required.
-
you have to ask? shame
-
of course they can. only need to ask a medic in a hospital when ice addicts come in and it takes 5 people to subdue them. soldiers have been taking amphetamines for ages.

they told you that white powder was dried guava paste? i'd get it tested (or disposed of) before the feds come knocking on your door

objectively: his odds are probably 4:1 against subjectively: he will have a fairy-tale return to afl and cement his place in an up and coming contender side

correct. there are always grey areas. melksham is also allowed to mix socially with other players including team mates......but technically they can't assist him in a sporting sense
-
no, no no professional contact of any sort edit: if they were smart they would have had this worked out before the sentence
-
their financial problems stem from their disastrous attempts to expand in the uk, totally misunderstanding the changes in law re ambulance chasing if their attempts at overseas law are a guide they would be mad to take on the cas at french law

slow news week. eddie needs to divert publicity after his association in shane warne's charity fiasco
-
a lot of the pro essendon camp like to make an issue that the afl is the real employee of the players (and hence legally responsible for duty of care etc) by extension you could argue that players moving clubs are just going from afl to afl. therefore restricting them is in fact no restriction because the are still employed by the afl having your cake and eating it argument

would that be the filipino maid well known for her skills in asphyxiophilia. maybe you should warn the tradey (assuming he hasn't finished your job yet)

3 conferences - 6 each play own conference twice, others once ( 5x2=10 + 12x1=12 - total 22 games) top 2 in each conference to finals plus 2 wildcards gives a final 8 easy peasy

More about Eddie keeping his face in the news. I don't bother now to read anything he says. He's just part of the firm now.

i hope it's decades and not just years. priceless.
