Cameron Pedersen, Melbourne, has been charged with engaging in rough conduct against Nathan Wright, St Kilda, during the fourth quarter of the Round Four NAB Challenge match between Melbourne and St Kilda, played at Etihad Stadium on Sunday March 13, 2016. In summary, his $1500 sanction can be reduced to a $1000 sanction with an early guilty plea.

Jesse Hogan and his kicking for goal (merged thread)
daisycutter replied to Ricky P's topic in Melbourne Demons
well let's just disagree and btw, no forward should ever be satisfied with 60%. the objective should be 100%. always room for continuous improvement and it doesn't have to be major improvements, just lots of tiny improvements at a time. -

yeah, of course, but here we are talking of an intentional side on bump (front on bumps no longer allowed). no one is confused about going for the ball. -

i've never really understood this "feet leaving the ground" or "being airborne" as an indication of guilt, surely it's simply if you hit him high or not i would think i could hit harder if i had one foot anchored, plus if a smaller guy bumps a taller guy it makes sense to elevate to bump at the shoulder -

why let it be? and he certainly doesn't give the impression he's comfortable everyone can and should improve themselves, especially in such a professional sport where 1%ers make the difference -
when does the mrp do its stuff?

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
daisycutter replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
the 68% isn't that far behind a number of others, besides it's standard practice with new draftees to initially moderate their playing time, and remember he has had a shortened pre-season, not being able to start training till after the draft. if he plays round 1, and i expect he will, he will probably only get 70-75% game time -

he's developing nicely, just needs more time. i can see good things down the road. bagging him at this stage is just classic mfcss consider where he has come from. neafl, no tac academies, rookie listed, limited pre-season (only coming in after draft), change of state etc worth a re-look at his draft highlights video -
exactamundo, bitters. he was trying to bump, not get the pill. perfectly legitimate (as long as you don't hit the head).

no cigar for you either "MELBOURNE has secured a trade for speedy Carlton forward Jeff Garlett. The Demons will hand over picks 61 and 79 to Carlton for Garlett, while they will get back the Blues' pick 83." -
why the [censored] would you keep your eye on the ball when you are going to bump someone. crazy statement
-
he didn't do that bad. he only had 58% game time and his de% was over 80%

the more i think of it though you are probably right. earl's converted warehouse is probably full of cheap imported hipster underwear he sells on the blackmarket to his fitzroy clientele whilst still claiming social security benefits.

of course i do barney, but we have a knack of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory in the un-losable games
-
hmmm, red, don't know whether you are very perceptive or very prescient

be sorry to see you go, barney

doubt many decent people will bother to turn up, but you never know
