i still reckon he needs to work hard on his set piece kicking action. he improved it last year, but he can't afford to let it slip there's no need to panic obviously, but it simply needs work and should be fixable i expect he needs to work on it for his whole career, nothing unusual in that, barry cable one of the best ever exponents of handball would come into to the rooms after training and spend half an hour practising on the handball target board. practice, practice makes perfect. the ox might have been overly hyperbolic but he was on the money

hadn't seen this bit before, pretty damning "During 15 days of evidence, text messages in October 2011 between former Essendon fitness chief Dean Robinson and Dank also emerged. Dank was about to join the Bombers for pre-season training. It was reported Dank wrote: "Hi mate, peptides don't make the WADA list for next year." Robinson replied: "I know, check out section S0 it may fall there. "I have, a little grey but CJC-1295 probably doesn't. "Is it approved by any government agency for human therapeutic use?" Dank texted: "No but never submitted for therapeutic use." Robinson asked: "Can we just call them amino acids or something of the kind?" Dank said: "Yes that's all they are an amino acid blend." In court, Dank said he did not "recognise this as my text exchange"."

Saturday Talking Point: The NAB Challenge
daisycutter replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
jack, i think the afl limited them to only picking players who had been on afl lists in the last 3(?) years. obviously an attempt to avoid repercussions if they played inexperienced players who got badly hurt - duty of care stuff -
yes wyl, i've sent mr. thomas an email asking if he would be kind enough to refer to himself in the future as dale, and inform the media there are standards to maintain
