given the conditions today (awful) it's hard to call the stats very meaningful

spot on jnr. the lack of changing backline defensive structure was just staggering. even an u12 side could see they needed to go man on man in defence and start getting in their space with a good dose of niggle
-
he didn't get smashed by riewoldt, he just never went anywhere near him
-
no yonnies there, bbo, just trying to clarify for mable's benefit. it's just very hard these days to retain 457 servants who don't know their place

can't say grimes and garland really excite me the backline were abysmal, but to me the error was the defensive game plan. playing consistently 20m away from your opposite number in some strange version of zone defense and at the same time positioning yourselves so far up the ground was suicide, made worse by the failure to change tactics especially in the 2nd qtr when it became obvious that this structure was failing and being exploited. The backline started to resemble witches hats but still they refused to man up and cover.

was probably conchita mkII or even conchita mkVIII or whatever. earl is big into turnover (if you get my drift)

tmac - was he playing

i wonder if the backline needs contact lens in order to find an opponent? never seen such appalling structure
-
only 10? sheesh may as well stay at home today then

tassie doesn't need an academy in the sense that qld, nsw and nt do to develop the game tassie is a developed and established home of footy (and a very proud one). sure, a more professional pathway for young talent would be a good idea, just as the tac operates in vic but don't let norf consider it is anything like the emerging states requirements no golden tickets for norf on this one, even if they move to tassie

MFC 2016 Membership - Record Broken. Next stop: 40,000
daisycutter replied to Lucifers Hero's topic in Melbourne Demons
presumably those eligible got the email from the club with the personal discount code however if mfc/mcc members didn't get the email i think they should. no skin off nb's nose i'd think, given the margins on athletic shoes, plus i don't think they'd like to risk offending a section of supporters i'd give the club a ring if you didn't get email. offer finishes in about 2 weeks
