THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
daisycutter replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
funny how the hun made a big deal of his (fanciful) claims of how he was going to prove the innocence of the players and get jobe his brownlow back. here's a guy who continually loses court cases, fails repeatedly to turn up to hearings, fails to abide by legal court requirements yet the hun makes a bigger point reporting his hollow claims of "getting jobe's brownlow back". the quality of journalism these days is so pathetically low and downright lazy -
i'd be surprised if the mfc made more than tuppence 'appeny profit on their clash jumpers. in fact their whole merchandise setup doesn't seem very professional tucked away in the almost inaccesible bowels of the mcg. there is no reason they couldn't make better profits from multiple fashionable customised versions of the traditional jumpers or just straight out new original designs. they don't necessarily have to be ones worn on match days. in fact the whole merchandising approach needs a refreshing complete overhaul

why would a leopard change his spots and ever try to 'clarify' anything (unless there was a pot of $$$s in it). It's just not in their dna

it's just an expression ldvc, don't take it too literally. i'm sure afl players/ managers/clubs/lawyers are well versed on player contract conditions -

well concussion or worse, repeated concussion can be a nasty disability. given h is nearing the end of his career and has had 2 recent concussions serious enough to miss a lot of games, then for his future health's sake why would you risk it and play on. it's not worth it and he doesn't want to end up as a novelty doorman at a nightclub. he has his 200 games and a premiership cup, so he really hasn't anything to prove. -

so what does that say about all the earlier 'fully recovered, cleared by medical staff' reports? rhetorical question -

presumabty though. george, because this appeal is "de novo" and tb4 administration was part of the initial hearing, is it possible he could be found guilty of administering tb4? any lawyers want to comment? -

reported in today's rage that oral submissions will be allowed in dank's appeal seems dank's team "thought" this wasn't allowed. they seem to be really on top of this appeal -
it's only a maybe. let's hope it's a no-way. send sen an email expressing your disgust
