  1. Hmmm, agreed probably the "realistic" commentary/debate approach lies somewhere between beration and sycophancy ...........but no-one will agree where that line lies I guess that says nothing carry on all
  2. Swap 13 and 14. Kangas would finish in 2nd half i.e. 10/18. Bulldogs would be 9th. Mid point is between 9 and 10. At least I think
  3. I seriously doubt Junior will play a game next year for GWS This smells of more Sheedy snake oil to get GWS more publicity I seem to remember GWS talked of maybe playing Junior last year too
  4. We move on more flexible than before I'll reserve judgement on the wiser bit
  5. whats another year in 47? Edit: poor arithmetic, senior brain fart
  6. Old dee did you notice on one of last weeks finals the umpires has the temerity to wear all red socks. Made we want to spew I was wondering if we could sue the AFL for 'cruel and unusual' treatment and bringing the game into greater disrepute Very much below the belt, associating maggots with the mighty redlegs.
  7. so, how many compo picks do we get for junior?
  8. Kickett and sheedy at the same table - that I'd pay to see
  9. Yeah. I've never heard of a 31" LCD TV (31.5, 32 yes) So whats wrong with 31?....Oh yeah I get it. Certainly not a 'give away' or a 'win'
  10. hasn't D-Gen been done before? Mixed message? Passe?................just wondering not saying
  11. Just heard from an impeccable inside sauce at GWS that Sheedy is planning to play himself as the sub for the next 1-2 years to inject more experience into the side
  12. F/S is done before draft trading so NO
  13. No, we don't have to bid higher. We have to bid our NEXT pick AFTER whatever is bid by others (and compo picks are excluded) There will obviously be lots of bluff bids so expect to lose our 2012 first round pick
  14. I like your pluck HT but you are dreaming. Will be lucky to get one pick in top 10 We'll find out soon enough but don't build up your hopes too much
  15. I totally agree. I think GWS have shot themselves in the foot Sydney people don't like losers and I think GWS will be big losers for a long time with this strategy
  16. Don't you have any work to do at AFL-House this morning, andrew?
  17. Sorry hardtack, but I just don't think Cale Morton will make it. It's called an opinion. I also think continually playing him when he didn't earn his place plus his lack of desire for the contest just personifies what is wrong with this playing group and sends the wrong message to the other players Your mileage may differ, but I'm sticking with my opinion
  18. Why not, you can always have escape clauses re existing injuries
  19. So Rhino, you keep avoid answering queries on your avatar, how long do we have to put up with it? Nothing stopping you removing it until you find a better replacement Meanwhile I'll continue to skip over your posts
  20. well at least his contract would be on the cheap side i also worry about him if we get a coach who is strong on the contact stuff as someone suggested
  21. well an injury ridden player with a dicky knee who played a handful of forgettable games this year seemed to have some value north of the border. but.....i don't disagree with you.....just feeling grumpy
  22. We won't even get a top 10 pick (based on 2011), wait and see
  23. We should all be prepared to be disappointed when the AFL announce the "compensation" picks We WILL get done over
  24. what makes you think the compensation picks are in Schwab's hands???
