GWS want a second rounder. Think a 3rd if we get onE from Cats in Lumumba deal may do it. -

Assuming we can get another ruckman, would you swap Jamar back home to Crows, for say a Lyons? -
Gone to Hawks.

Well we need to get one of them then. I would look at trading Jamar if you could get something and we get another ruckman. -
You can only ask.

Maybe we even get a later pick back, given the O'Rourke deal just done. Then use that on Grimley. -

Hawks are professional in all ways. They get Chip and O'Rourke without fuss. Can now move on. They do the same every year. -

It sounds like we will do Garlett and Frost soon and Lumumba looks a lock. I would have a go at Grimley who will come cheap. If you got him, it would be time to have a heart to heart with the Saints to see what they are doing with 1. If they are taking Petracca, or swapping the pick, it may then be worthwhile to get a mid from Dogs and 6 and swap 3, promising to leave McCartin. I think if we want another mid, plenty will be there at 6 and we could already have Brayshaw at 2 and Billy and more to come. That of course could all turn around. If Saints keep 1 and advise they are taking McCartin, we then keep the picks and get the 2 everyone is talking about. -

If we are not looking at Merrett I would certainly look at Grimley, who can play forward and help in the ruck. -

It could be as suggested, pick 23 to Blues for Garlett and 28, we give 28 to GWS, get Garlett and Frost for 23. -

He was their first pick in the Rookie draft of 2011. It could be argued he got games this year because of the absence of Davis, Mohr and others. Pick 23 is way too high, that is the sort of pick being discussed for Levi Greenwood who missed the B & F by one vote. -
Worth looking at.

AFL involved in Port Adelaide/Essendon Draft Rort
Redleg replied to deanox's topic in Melbourne Demons
Steady on Fifty-5, we got what the rules stipulated. We also didn't for the 2nd year in a row get a PP despite the rules. This if it happens, is a new rule, made out of time, on the run, to benefit a few and leading to chaos and at the least, draft tampering. -

Can't see it happening, as it is actually big enough to bring down Evans and Gill. -

We don't need to terminate his contract, because it is already. That makes it easier than the Ryder proposal. We get a higher pick than the Cats will give. We pay Pies a low pick for HL. They get Varcoe for a low pick. As a bonus we do a swap of picks with Cats and use on Frost and Garlett. BTW it won't happen. -

End of third day coming up and not one single trade completed. This is a yawnfest. -
I actually thought he sounds similar to Fitzpatrick.

Or getting Geelong's in the MC deal.
