  1. Where is King at in his rehab?
  2. Well you might be the only person on the planet who holds that view. Even Scott conceded we were the better side and if we had kicked straight would have won.
  3. The system is now a joke. There are so many faults it is laughable.
  4. I am waiting for the Doctor's report from the Crows to have the pretty ugly Paddy Ryder hit from behind to a Crow's jaw, declared no impact, or low impact and one week at worst. The Crows won't dob Ryder in. We now have a system where you can attempt to smash a bloke's head in, but if the Doctor says the victim is fine, the penalty is minor. That is a joke.
  5. I'va, we were behind because we couldn't kick a goal from 20 out, straight in front, multiple times, not because Danger and Duckmyheadwood were hurting us. When Gawn went off, Danger was on 6 possies. I agree it is hard to come from behind against Cats, but we should have been 8-10 goals in front at the last change.
  6. Interesting view. I thought we were well on top until 3/4 time. As Roos and Hudson ( a Cat's supporter ) said on Fox Footy during the game, we should have been 8-10 goals up then. The 2 champs stood up only when Max went off and their 6'10" ruckman, playing against a non ruckman 5 inches shorter, was able to hit the ball straight to them and the clearances changed from us up 5 at the last break to down 5 at the end. No Hogan, Lewis, an injured Vince and then Gawn off, them not missing kicking 18 straight and us kicking at goal worse than I can ever recall, was the reason for the loss. Inside 50's , 53-38 our way. We were the better side on the day and lost. That is the game I saw.
  7. We need to get Frost or Pedo back in to help Jake and release Watts to his normal game. Don't need him being injured in the ruck. BTW, I thought Watts was terrific. He showed more desire at the contest than I have seen from him before and he ran himself into the ground . After the game he dropped to the ground exhausted. It was a fantastic effort from a bloke who can look laconic and lazy at times. If he plays with that intensity and effort, he will be a much better player for us.
  8. Agree, but he has been on our list for about 8 years and the point is, he may go ok, but he is not Max. Anyway I wish him well and hope he can stay fit all year.
  9. Sorry obviously misunderstood your intent.
  10. Are you seriously suggesting that even with a lot of work, Jake could play consistently near the level of Gawn? One is the best ruckman in the game and the other an honest battler. I will be happy if Jake can compete and do the odd nice thing.
  11. Not at all, both boys are not well. Rowe has a cold from the rain today and Cripps has leather poisoning from today's game.
  12. Then I expect Paddy Ryder and a North player, I think was Turner to get several weeks.
  13. Paddy Ryder and a north player, suggested as Turner, put blokes down behind the play. Both apparently strikes to the head. We will see.
  14. Not Robinson Crusoe on the miss.
  15. Someone posted what could go wrong did and he was spot on. Cats kicked at least 6 out of their arse and umpires and our poor disposal probably gave them another 8. Gawn off before half time and our side was reshuffled and obvious tiring of players had to happen and it did, half way through the last quarter. Our new forwards in Weed, Smith and Hannan had no impact. Hogan and Lewis out didn't help. Of course the worst thing was missing 11 fairly regulation set shots. Despite all that the commentators felt we should have won easily. Strange day indeed.
  16. Put Tim Smith into ruck and Watts as usual relieving. Bull will have a go. Rove to their ruck and ensure their ruck can't take the ball away at stoppages.
  17. GWS player put down behind play, with a strike from behind. Saw the arm come out and the player go down, but couldn't see where hit and with what. Commentators thought it was Turner. Can't wait to see how the MRP and the media treat this one.
  18. Not only winning, but it is great that at the same time we are blooding new players. 3 in the first 3 rounds is fantastic for our depth.
  19. I have a problem with this game, I dislike one club and the other is my most disliked club.
  20. Speaking of Prestia, he is still not right and may never be. His training loads are being managed and there is an acknowledgement from the Tigers that he is still dealing with his injury problems. O'Meara, while getting possessions, is basically avoiding kicking wherever possible. That is a clear sign that he also is not over his injury problems.
  21. How good would a win for us, no injuries and Smith having a great debut be? 4 points and finding another forward would be fantastic.
  22. And that is how football should be for us, that we can be competitive against all teams. Our journey back continues.
