    They are trying to delay their response until after the Essendon court action to see what information might come out of that. Seems like a smart move to me. They haven't made a decision to take them in at this point just delaying their response to see what further information they can gather to inform it.

    I was surprised Gawn was played in this game. We should have stuck with another runner, that was the first selection mistake. My thoughts were that they didn't want to mess with Pedersons form by playing him in the ruck but he ended up doing that anyway. I think Max will be a great ruck man but I don't like him as a forward.

    It's good for max to be spending whole games in the ruck in the VFL and build his engine. Will be a force once he gets a bit stronger and can run out games.

    One thing that I haven't seen mentioned that I liked about his game yesterday was he took a few really good marks. So he is also fairly strong in the air rounding out his game nicely.

    Interesting comment about AOD not being part of the case against Essendon due to confusion about its status. I suppose that adds weight to the understanding that Trengove is in the clear.

    The first thing we need to do money wise is start paying 100% of the cap. Once we can do that comfortably then we can look at things like VFL teams.
