  1. Lets not get too excited, he was not the first to mention the Brock rumour and not the first to mention Davey either.
  2. You would have to think then that at the dinner he was committed to the club. Not arguing about tanking with DB as is being suggested. Not sure of the timing, was the dinner before the Richmond game? You would also think that since the dinner and the end of the season list management meetings have happened and end of year discussions with players. Given the oversupply of inside mids and the need to get games into Scully and Tengrove (if we pick them) then his opportunities beyond next year may be limited. And he may have been told as such. His comments about leaving refered to it being best for his career and with Stevens leaving Carlton there were opportunities for him there. This is pure speculation of course but to me make more sense than the sky falling in. If we lose Davey as well then I might take a more pesimistic view.
  3. If you thought his youtube reel was good, you might want to check this Mature age prospect. He may have missed the boat because of his age but he has some impressive moves! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yu_moia-oVI
  4. I think he has already reached his Peake.... Not interested
  5. Cant view that outside OZ
  6. Ditto...it would make you my hero!!!
  7. I have not...traveling through Europe. Would love to see some highlights if anyone has them...
  8. I thought the contractual arrangements with the existing stadiums in Melbourne was that AFL could not be played in a new stadium in Melbourne. Hence why there is talk of playing at Princes Park again or using Skilled in the debate over match day returns. I could be wrong.
  9. The title clearly states what the thread is about so if you dont think your going to like it dont click the link. Pretty simple really. Not only people from the Melb metro area read this site and coverage of the footy show in Northern states is not so good. I didnt see it so I really appreciate it. It was good to hear how Brock went last week also as I couldnt catch the show.
  10. Those are not the change rooms. They are in an airconditioned interchange/dugout area.
  11. No Buckley again...
  12. Stinga Flower Lyon Neita I have those 4 then I struggle to pick the last spot out of Farmer, Woey, Jacka, Ox, Yze, Davey, Whelan, Powell, Stynes, Viney....oh and Hopegood ( )

This softness perception is Green is wrong, even in his early years. He would still take grabs in a marking contest and grab the ball when he had to. The difference then to now was that early in his career he used to play for free kicks too much and I think this is where much of this perception stems from. When he grabed the ball in a contest and he got tackled he would often throw his head back like he had been shot. But he never squibed the contest, there is a big difference.
  14. Those ins are making me hungry....I could really go some Jetta Cheney <_<
  15. I would be interested in hearing just how good you think he will become YM. Sam did not make it to your signature.
  16. Why is it that everyone thinks Martin is going to be an instant forward? He is new to the game and his strengths are his athletic qualities rather than his skills and instinct. He looks to me like a backman not a foward. I know our forward line is bad and Im not saying we should not give him a go there at some stage but I think he is far from the instant answer and I would like to see him kick a few for Casey before he gets a gig there for the Demons in that role.
  17. Thanks KC, I look forward to your updates...
  18. I got a call from the club today and renewd. So thats one more.
  19. Medibank Private
  20. The most pleasing sentiment from that artical is that of unity. This appears to be a prudent objective of Jimmy's and one he seems to getting some traction on. To survive we must put the all demons of the past to bed and forge a new era as a strong and united club. Credit goes not just to Jimmy but to all who are putting their differences aside and coming back into the fold. United we stand devided we fall!
  21. Yep, because CJ left it meant we had room for Jarah. I am happy with that and wish him well. He is not a bad player and I am sure Carlton would be happy also. Your right Jack, lets all move on.
  22. Im not sure I would have all of Frawley, Martin, Warnock, Rivers and Garland in the same back line. I agree they all deserve a game but I just dont think it would be an ieal set up. I would have only one of Frawley/Warnock/Martin. Dam tough choice.
  23. At least its not his groin I guess... Lets not freak out until we know a little more... Good to hear Petterd amonst it.
  24. They are all up in Darwin at an Indigenous conference. Those not playing in the all stars game will fly back tomorrow.
