Your right it's better to assume the coach doesnt know what he is doing and jump to conclusions without any evidence at all. For what it's worth I agree that jack wasn't going to come out air any grievance. But he didn't need to be so effusive if he had such a distaste for what was said. It seems fairly genuine...but I can see why you might now have a hard time taking people on their word.

I don't think you will be able to access the service from another carrier ie Optus. I have tried with my mobile which is Optus and it won't let me, but with my iPad which is Telstra I can. Not sure if there is a way around it. I wonder if the resolution will be perfect for iPad or will it be iPhone size and a bit pixelated on iPad. I also wonder if u will be able to use your wifi for better and reliable download speed or you have to stream through 3G.

You have just confused me :/ I was talking about afl live on your mobile. Which I assume is resized and not shown in standard definition. Not sure how much download a game will take for an iPad but if your with Telstra it wont matter because it's unmetered.

Telstra have just put out their mobile and tablet plans. You can get a season pass for just $50. if your a telstra customer it's unmetered. If the picture looks good on the iPad I can live with that for the games not on free to air when I am not at the pub or a mates place. You can also get an ap which give live stats and radio, replays on demand and access to afl.tv (not sure whats on that I assume the video content on the afl site). $50 for the year is good value. Not often you say that about a Telstra product.

I think we actually sit at around the minimum 92% but are paying 100% by way of bringing forward payments. So we may have been able to afford both...though I am not sure we would have wanted to.

Freak your usually a hard marker when it comes to skills so it's good to hear you thought they were ok. I noticed Nicholson was not in your top preseason performers. I know you can't fit them all in but any reason for that?

Rhett, thanks for the ongoIng supply of info. I have just found out that I can't get foxtel on xbox in my location (Darwin). I assume this is because Austar has the licence for this area? I know we can't get the subscription service but I thought online through Xbox might be different. Anyway I assume this would also rule out foxtel through telsta tbox too? So my options are austra or what ever Telstra come out with for mobile devices. Hopefully there will be something decent and afordable for the iPad.

I am far less concerned about watts supposed lack of intensity than I was 12 months ago. And on the whole the comments by those that have attended training and from the coaches in the media have been positive in this regard. He really came on last year and in some games would have been one of the hardest working out there...and when he found some form it stuck for a good stretch too...much longer than I expected...before fading at the end. I can't wait to see what he will do this year.

Nicho is clearly an elite runner...but how were his skills and decision making? Thanks to all for the reports by the way
