    I though MN was a good coach for us right up until I saw his televised pre game speech...that left me flat and I started to doubt him. Roos seems to be everything MN was not.

    Vince just replaced Sylvia. I'd still like Cross to come in to add experience to our midfield. Dom and Viv have only played 14 games between them so we are still an inexperienced midfield unit. Even if he is only depth I'd much tether have Cross coming in than Bail or Nicholson if we need it. We really need to start winning games.

    I recon we are happy with pick 9 and have our eyes on someone and that the players or picks remaining that we would be happy to trade would not get us much.

    That is not the best example as it would have had a lot to do with Swans needing to make cap space and GWS have offered Mumford an attractive deal and having PSD 1. You could also the Tigers paid pick 28 for Hampson who is a muppet.

    Smells a bit of the Johnston trade we did with Brisbane a few years back. But it's true we can't go into next year with a less experienced midfield than last year following the loss of Sylvia. Even with Michie he has only played one game.

    Assistant to senior assistant looks like a clear promotion to me.

    Not sure if this has been raised but if Dew is an assistant at the Swans and we want to make him a senior assistant isn't that a promotion in itself? Never mind that he will then be promoted again to senior coach.

    If D Thomas is worth $700k for four years surely we could throw that Rockliffs way after money freed up by Sylvia and Davey...and we have pick 2 to get the job done.

    I hope we don't use pick 2 and turn it into two average players. I would rather we used it to get a really good mid and used our second rounders for the roll types. Otherwise we should keep pick 2 for the draft. Don't dilute it by going for quantity.

    Who is better for us Adams or Sheil? I like that Adams gets more of the ball, we just don't have mids that can get over 20 touches each game. Sheil seems in the mould of our current mids that get it 20 times. Still I'm sue that will increase as he matures. I thought he had just signed a contract though?

    Wouldn't it be more plausible that if Rawlings was really going up there it was to see one of the young players out of contract looking to come back to Vic than the contracted Tom Rockliff? Would do pick 2 for him any day of the week though.
