  1. Fair enough - but didn't you get a sense of urgency? Of a ticking mind? Of someone who knows what it takes on all levels? I did.
  2. Me too - strange 'interview' don't you think?? Moloney looked p*ssed off and said all of 20 words. Is he normally a sook?
  3. Player list is an issue, don't you think?
  4. Agree - body language was incredible. When he was adjusting his glasses, he was fuming, but kept it together. I've really enjoyed this bloke over the last 48 hours - now it's the players turn!!!
  5. If you watch him play, he is a train wreck - thinks he's midfielder and tries to carry and run, ultimately creating a turn over. Can't mark, kicking is terrible and decision making even worse. Setanta O'hAilpin clone. I think Disco was joking, I'm not.
  6. Stef Martin is not in the best 22. Not up to AFL standard and if Neeld is fair dinkum, not up to his standards either. In a supposed 'super' draft in November, trade for a 3rd or 4th rounder.
  7. Blease shirked the hard ball twice yesterday......a quote from his school footy coach - 'he's quick but gives us nothing'
  8. Martin??? This bloke needs to stop thinking he can run and carry - he is a train wreck.
  9. Agree - not up to AFL standard.
  10. WC by 10 goals atm.....having said that, Doggies aren't that bad. It's going to be a bloodbath next week. I feel sick.
  11. Leigh Matthews said this morning that Clarke has always been considered as an 'average' KPP and That Ben Hudson will be a better recruit for the Lions than Clarke will be for the Dees.....also, the Lions will save about 500K.
  12. I know you didn't - I'm just concerned that the default mindset is that the match committee will bring in a Dunn.....
  13. Fair enough - but will a Dunn offer any more? Great kick, but can't tackle and won't chase. Same old, same old, really....
  14. I think that that's the key....no point dropping Davey or whoever else and bringing in a Dunn or a Bate.
  15. We're all disappointed but let's see where improvement can come from?? I'll start. Sellar, Tapscott and Morton must play. Subi is very wide and may suit the boundary game. Howe needs to stay away from Clarke Martin needs to stay away from Clarke Make sure that the spread is working. Davey was injured and couldn't go a yard - policy: stop playing injured players To start planning, keep one eye on a good crumbing forward from the VFL - 3rd or 4th round pick. Frawley must be ORDERED to go the FIRST option all the time. Grimes to the midfield. Passion and build a desire for the contest.
  16. You can put Blease in that category - shirked a hard ball twice.
  17. 'Early Draft picks.....' - therein might be the problem. But, we've covered this ground.
  18. Simon Black continues to amaze me - what a player......
  19. Is this the worst list in the last 10-12 years?
  20. I just hope we win.
  21. Wow! There could be a massive turnover of our playing list in 2 years.....
  22. Then what happens? Still no intensity? Next step?
  23. One more and I'll shut up.....Luke Hodge. Intimidating, uncompromising, hard.....but not brutal. He attacks the ball hard and if a player gets in his way, so be it. Notice, though, that he will help up the last player to get up after a contest....regardless if it's the opposition.
  24. Exactly! In relation to modern footballers, look at someone like Josh Caddy - he came on in the 2nd half against us last year and his intensity was obvious......Kennedy from the Swans and a couple of West Coast boys (Gaff?) they go hard........... I'm not sure this can be coached.
  25. I've said it before - you've got to want to COMPETE. Stynes had it, Lyon had it, Wilson had it, Ricky Jackson had it, Lovett had it...........
