  1. Absolutely true - watching him squirm, he had absolutely no consideration that he'd push others out. If he signs, there'll be a few clubs circling for the others that (I assume) will be quite disgruntled.
  2. In reference to the title, he's not forgotten. Absolute excitement machine.
  3. Travis Cloke on The Footy Show, one-on-one with Garry Lyon. Said that they're not 'quite there yet' (Collingwood's offer) Admitted that Freo had an offer on the table. Very nervous, sounded somewhat mercenary, didn't say the 'team' things. Gone.
  4. Yep - heard that too. 4 years but it has cost the Pies a sh%t load.
  5. Many poster look at 'last year' as a yardstick for Stef Martin. Last year, there was a coach without a game plan and footballers without accountability. As Chook said, 'runs into wrong positions' (sic) and runs into the no-go zones where space is to be created. Cook is skinny, but he's a lovely kick, is coachable and takes a nice mark - all our games are not about 2012, they're about 2013.
  6. Well, Bartram won't get back in, as he's also out for the rest of the year. This boy is damn good - loved him from his game against the Toigs last year. Kicked a couple and really ran through the lines.
  7. And a decent Graham Kennedy to boot.....
  8. I think he'll be invigorated as a bustling, stay put HFF. There aren't many out there that can match his strength. This is Neeld's new look unfolding.
  9. Can't say I watched the entire game, but, from all reports it was a 'difficult' day for all. I understand where you're coming from, but given the choice, Cook has great hands and he's a converter - Stef has always had the yips.
  10. HG, i don't reckon that Moloney will get dropped this year. I say that because it looks like Neeld's got Sylvia on board and I reckon he'll work wonders with Beamer. Having said that, he's lost what little pace he once had and he's better off as a one-on-one HFF, because of his strength.
  11. Cook, please. There's finally some structure and some discipline to this footy team. Having Stef Martin in the team is like having a big labrador run through your freshly laid concrete.
  12. Cook, maybe. Davis - there's no room? Back six look settled to me.
  13. Do you reckon he'll go? If he does, it'll be a shame. I think he's finally growing up. He's okay Bleasey - could be that crumbing forward we've been screaming for.
  14. Bleasey and Scully had a nice chat - they're very close friends. A few others came over and shook his hand, but they didn't linger.
  15. The tap out is not the only requirement to play AFL. Jake Spencer is a very, very limited footballer.
  16. I seriously thought that if ONE player would embrace the Neeld culture, it would have been this bloke. Hard to see him stay on the list. Spencer has nothing. Martin....enough said.
  17. I hope he has a shocker and gets bruised - don't like the broken leg bit...
  18. Tough, hard body, but I agree he's dropped away - not enjoying his footy or the lifestyle? Wouldn't pay overs...
  19. Fair enough, I'm glad he's better, but he'll need 3-4 weeks (@ Casey) to play an accountable, negating role and realise his role in the team. He's not a ball carrier, or a designated kicker, or given license to fly for anything. He needs more discipline.
  20. The selection would be back to the Bailey days. No accountability, no structure, no discipline, no footy smarts.
  21. I'm pretty sure that he was never going to come over? The guy's a beast. Never mind....
  22. Good call....but, if he can't do the basics, at least bloody block.
