I'm not into Neeld bashing, but I was disappointed in one aspect of his coaching. Freo collected the huddle for the kick - outs and our players are so player - centric at the moment, that they followed their opponent into the middle, allowing many easy breakaways. I think it happened 3 times, yet it took a while to rectify.....I mean, the huddle is like, 80s?

Good post. I've noticed that the umpiring has been quite poor over the last 3 or 4 weeks and I'd like the club to approach the AFL to get some clarification. Last week, players from both teams looked really bemused by decisions, hand signals and interpretations.

I think I saw the making of a star today - No 38 Michael Walters for Freo. Pacy, magnificent left footer....reminded me of a young Aaron Davey. It shows that we're desperately in need of a crumber. Hopefully, in time, Blease will fill that role.

I hear what you're saying, but getting 'rid' of him isn't the answer. He is being coached to play a more attacking role off HFF and needs time to work on that. I agree that he's struggling with the defensive part of his game.
