Watched 20 minutes of the game. He got 3 touches in that time and bombed to no-one. One landed in Fletcher's hands. Gosh, I miss him.

I've seen a couple of things (that's all I'm clinging to, btw) where he's too short to ruck, but he looks strong. He picked up and dumped Scully like he was a rag doll. Sewell, Kennedy type? He could be good clearance player.

I reckon Pederson may turn into a strong midfield/clearance player.

Yep...think about it, McQueen. We've stuffed up so many 1st round picks. At least we'll have a player that has been in the system 3 or 4 years and you can see what you'll get. Like Roos, another fantasy unfolding.

Realistically, so many posters filled out their perfect side last year and I saw sooooo many question marks for some positions. I respect the time that these posters put into that scenario and I think it's at the same stage now. By R18, we can start painting our canvas and let's see how many gaps need to be filled then. Is someone happy to do one now? I, for one, would love to see it....

Oh, and the Ross Lyon thing.....he has a better list. We're nowhere near their capabilities....yet.

The players must take some responsibility for manning up, punching from behind, blocking, tackling, kicking straight, kicking to a moving target, shepherding. Geelong have got oodles of it, but they've also got a leader on every line. Let's get more games in the three Jacks, JV, M Jones, Terlich, Dawes, Gawn, Evans, Strauss, Sellar, Howe, etc and allow the landscape to unfold then.
