  1. And you and stuie are besties, 186 was our biggest winning margin against the Cats, Jo Gutnick is about to pour his 5th 5 million dollar donation into the club and Magner just took mark of the year. Oh, and Biffen's back.
  2. Evans has already signed. For mine, Fitzy needs to show more. Gawn is a must.
  3. This is the worst team I've ever seen......oh, never mind.
  4. I know we're coming from, but perhaps you need to build a culture first? Our culture has been about tanking and poor training practices for years.
  5. Yep, that what I was thinking.
  6. Didn't Pendlebury say this about Neeld? I suppose Neeld was untried.......
  7. Gee, I reckon he's coming.... His body language, the ambiguity of his answers and the shifting tone. (talking about OTC) But, I'm no expert! Hell! I thought Neeld would stay.
  8. At the end of the day, no team was going to beat the Bombers in 2000. They were animals and brutal. The Blues of 1995 were not dissimilar, but more surgical. Let's not forget that Greeny was whacked in the larynx in the opening 5 minutes and could hardly breathe....
  9. Jack Watts' physicality has been on show a couple of times this year. He went low and hard against GWS, went missing against the Tiges, then went really hard against the Pies. The worm could be turning....
  10. What about The Rev? Doing great things....(apparently)
  11. Whoever it is, must be given time. The Club needs to become combative in the AFL, not just participants. (quoting Neeld here) Good luck, newbie.
  12. Neeld's sacking? Yes. Judging by the poster, no. Peter Jackson is a ruthless administrator and showed that yesterday.
  13. It was that he wasn't definitive in saying 'no.' 'At the moment...' is as cryptic as it comes. Also, Robbo mentioned that Tony Sheahan twittered that Roos would coach the Dees in 2014. At the time, Roos said, no.....not this time.
  14. After watching 'On The Coach'.........Roos is in. Whoever comes in will need unconditional, unequivocal, 110% support. Thanks heavens we've got a Jonesy, Wattsy, Clarky, Dawesy, etc
  15. Roos was quite coy when asked about the gig tonight. Eade looks like the frontrunner at this stage.
  16. Strange comment.
  17. Even Barassi saw out his five long years.
  18. Oh, and B-H? I don't want any flowers.
  19. It aint my list. Which 5 or 6? Care to name them? Source? Methinks you're speculating and following the doomsdayers. Gotta replacement??
  20. Daisy for coin, Tom Boyd? 3 mids! Here we come!!!!!!!!!
  21. GWS are copping thrashings with a group of players that were the cream of the crop 2 years ago. Where does this leave Sheedy? I think Neeld is getting better at coaching after the non-negotiables are sorted. Fitness. Discipline. Respect. Intrinsic motivation.
  22. Really necessary in this debate? Or a term of affection??
  23. Yes and yes. There are a couple at the moment who are working damn hard to improve. The coach has motivated them as has Jack Grimes. I'm an enormous fan of JT, (quality person) but JG is an enormous role model. Consider that Collingwood scored 89 out of 122 (or whatever it was) from turnovers. Players are getting to contests and getting their hands on the ball. Mistakes relate to confidence and composure that comes with games, games, games. This will turn around.
  24. Hey DO? What are you going to do if they anoint Neeld for the rest of the year?
