  1. Sorry VJ. No way in the world I would laugh at your sincere comments about Clarry. Meant to tap the love button. I think you know like many, he was my favourite player.
  2. Welcome back home Jared. A great Demon. Nearly 200 AFL games as a vey competitive and attacking defender.
  3. He went pretty close to his best in the last game against Collingwood. . Why are you so sure he can't be the champion again? Do you know something about his personal life? Cheers.
  4. Dr Gonzo seems to think what I said was amusing as he does often. I challenge him to disprove my points about Richmond, Clarry embraced by his team mates and playing with maximum effort in all his games. Up to you Doc!
  5. As I said before, Richmond overcame bad culture issues and took out 2 premierships on the way. It is what happens on the playing field. Do you think Clarry was not embraced by his teammates? It struck me he was popular. Did he not put in full efforts when playing for the Demons?
  6. Push him out we certainly did. New broom sweeps in and states, 'You are our best midfielder, but we are moving you to an untried role. Take or leave it!' It was just a cowardly way of kicking him out knowing that this plan would not be acceptable.
  7. Just cannot believe the number of so called supporters who have made such spiteful and demeaning comments of a champion footballer. They talk about him as if he was a mass murderer. Trust they will have blacked out his image on the pictures of our premiership team by now. Speaking of club culture it didn't do Richmond any harm when it won its multiple premierships.
  8. And sadly, without both, we are certain to be last 4. Apart from Mighty Max, where are our midfielders going to come from? Can't expect Viney to be able to do the job on his own. Lets hope so!
  9. In their peak years (2020 to 2023)Trac and Clayton dominated Brownlow voting but ruined each others chances of ever winning the Brownlow. In three Brownlow results they attained these figures. Oliver 70 votes Petracca 67 votes Imagine how many votes each one would have scored if they were playing in different teams. Sadly, they are most likely to leave us, one by choice and the other by force. Shame. Interestingly, St Kilda's Jack Steele with 59 votes in 3 years has also been given his marching orders. As Ned Kelly said in his dying breath, "Such is Life".
  10. He only has a two year deal I think.
  11. Oliver does not want to leave. King doesn't want him.
  12. Yes of course. There was no indication of poor fitness in his last game of the season against Collingwood. Thought he looked fine. Yes of course. He looked like he was pretty fit v Collingwood last game of the season. Had an elite game.
  13. I just asked you a simple question.Yes or no. Not hard.
  14. But did you cheer that goal? Check your spelling of its.
  15. Good points BB, but to tell a champion mid fielder he will not be playing in that role where he has proved himself time after time , would be a bit hard to stomach. You can't really blame him for his reaction and he does have GINGER hair! Hopefully, he will think a bit more about it. I am a bit worried that King's 'new broom' approach will work. Quite often doesn't.
  16. Exactly, we must retain one of the two preferably Clarry as he wants to be with us still. Those who are excited about a RESET, please tell me who will be our onballers apart from Max?
  17. Taking the club for a ride eh? 4 Blueys, 2 coaches awards, All Australian teams, tries so hard every game he plays. And wants to remain a Demon. I wonder if you cheered when he kicked the third of the 'bang bangs' Or did you just think he is taking the club for a ride. Please show some respect for an absolute champion of our club. /
  18. Starting our list from scratch? You can't do much when we only have a dozen good players on our list. He wasn't offered a mid field role. That's the problem. Don't quite understand what you mean by your suggestion he is refusing a mid field role.
  19. MFC has basically given Clarry his marching orders. They have done it in a DECEITFUL way knowing that he would not accept playing elsewhere than as a midfielder. Poor show and at the moment I have no desire to renew my membership next season. Mr King has made a poor start to his coaching career. Just hope he can justify this decision. I fear that if they let Petracca go we are only going to have West Coast behind us on the final AFL ladder. Hardly a recipe for playing finals Mr King.
  20. You can't build a team on potential stars alone. Cannot leave it to Max and Viney. We must keep one of Petracca or Oliver if not both. Tholstrup, Turner, Howes and Adams are not of the standard required for a successful rebuild. They may show promise but is that enough?
  21. Rebuild with what exactly? A group of unknown recruits? o
  22. so the saints could have grabbed the Bont.
  23. Clarry tries so hard each and every match. Plays his guts out..he certainly hasn't lost his hunger. Have faith in a champion.
