Jesus it’s a bit early to say that, what’s Kolt played 15 games? And I don’t Think he’s played more then 5 consecutively, we need to give him a decent run at it. I know what you’re saying and that he hasn’t shown a lot yet but he’s had quite a few almost games but he does the little things the box score won’t show you. He’ll come good, people seem to forget it’s his second year after an injury interrupted preseason.

Both he and Daz Talks Footy are fantastic for draft content and tracking rookies. They’ve got some really informative stuff out there like player breakdowns and power rankings.

Makes sense. Looked like a whole lot less for the 15 or so minutes of the game I saw. I’ve got massive respect for the club and Ross in particularly for calling out the AFL the other day but I just think it’s ridiculous calling them a destination club purely cause they have a massive war-chest to offer someone. Great player but he’s only 191cm, I would of thought we’d want a genuine gorilla key forward. Even petty isn’t 200cms and I still think long term he goes back once maysie finishes up

I’ll forever be traumatised playing games over there after the 2018 prelim no matter how bad the eagles are and all we’ve achieved at that ground since. I’d like to think we still owe them one after the Harley Reid show over there last year and I think the boys are up for it knowing this game means we can get out season back on track.

it’s gonna suck if he gets picked up in the mid season draft while we don’t have a list spot, I really hope we can rookie him at years end.

I’d be shocked if they don’t make finals from here. They have some pretty ridiculous academy players, that zeke Uwland in particular looks ridiculous. besides they dont need key position or ruck depth you’d have to think kalani knows that and knows he’s much more likely to crack into our team rather then the suns.

I saw Jeff say on twitter he took a hanger today in the afl academy game. I pray he chooses us but it’s pretty telling the club left #34 open for this year.

Despite being young still verrall is developing well. no one will ever be max Gawn because he is generational and the best football player I have ever seen (I’m 22 so take my opinion with a grain of salt) we have Will, who will hopefully be ready to take over when max finishes up in a couple years. Or like others have said pick up a workhorse like most other clubs because no one will be Max Gawn.

I absolutely love everything about that. 😹 all the more reason for me to hope and believe he’ll be our next captain after Max.

It’s great to hear he’s recovering well but I really hope we don’t rush him back. I’m a little bit scared his age is catching up to him after last year, although I think that was a knee injury if I remember right?

There’s zero consistency and it’s been that way for a while now unfortunately. I honestly try not to pay attention to the tribunal cause it makes my blood boil. It doesn’t make sense to me how they seem to pick and choose when a player gets off and one doesn’t.

Hey I’m happy to be wrong, had seen a couple things and just assumed he was a bad kick. I’d much rather he succeeded and have a place in the team going forward. From what I’d seen of him up foward last year I really liked, I only caught the second half of the Casey game this week so couldn’t make my own judgement of him down back.

Just going off of a few things I’ve seen on here, I’ve got that one wrong clearly

Just going off of Casey, Verrall cant play in the forward line. He’ll make for a very serviceable ruckman in between the max finishing up and (assuming we get him) kalani development years. He kinda reminds me of Riley O’brian.

The only worry I have with sestan is his disposal, by foot he is absolutely woeful. Outside of that he’s an amazing footballer, can’t wait to see him at some point this year because he’s 100 percent gonna get a few games.

I still think even if a it’s a swap deal with dogga we’re still getting a 1st rounder back, absolutely no ifs or buts about it.

I feel like long term Kolt will play that hybrid Chad Warner type of roll where it kind of depends on game state, hit the nail on the head for the rest of it though. Could also see Leb playing a fair bit of time inside as well once the body matures.
