POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Honestly couldnât sleep. Kept up all night just thinking about quelling the Macedonian fairy and negating Elliot who kills us annually and we still lost. Canât believe GWS and others like the Dogs dropping games while we let games against St Kilda and Pies slip through our fingers. The PSG manager Luis Enrique talked about the youthful side of PSG and how much experience it would give them playing in the big matches and then winning the Champions League, but even if we werenât winning the flag, playing finals this year would have been gold for the younger players and potentially fast tracked development for next season. Chances after chances go begging..

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
We know this league is corrupt and Naicos is the Macedonian flopper, but fact of the matter is, we win that with just a bit more composure and smarts when we had momentum. We primarily lose momentum due to our own undoing. Richmond were bottom 6 for free kicks across their 4 years of dominance and 3 flags. Just really sick of losing to these [censored] and the same way time and time again. Yeah, we were brave and should be proud, but honorable losses for a group with this much top end established talent to compliment the younger blokes like Tholstrup, Langford etc shouldnât be tolerated any longer.

GAMEDAY: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Alongside Maynard, Howe is a player I wouldnât have any sympathy for should he (hopefully) suffers a career ending ACL injury. Absolute scum.

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
God, I would do anything to humble these [censored]. Wore my premiership cap (worn backwards) to pick up the Switch 2 this morning and this filth fan behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said âsee you on Monday, chumpâ Tongue in cheek, but who knows. Scum fans, scum players, scum club and they always seem to experience the good stuff year in year out. Goes to show that not all good things happen to good people. Bloody sickening to see them on the up on the regular. They are getting too big headed for my liking.

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
But it can be rectified. Why do you think, as an example why Novak Djokovic, the arguable GOAT of tennis and even sports is still churning through coaches in the twilight of his career to prolong his tennis journey? He knows his serving and net/volleying game has been an issue throughout his career and is still making conscious efforts to rectify such issus to try and win more Slams. Djokovic has worked tirelessly to correct such weaknesses, so what evidence do we have that suggests MFC has done to correct theirs? Have we really gone above and beyond? On what we have seen consistently over the last 5 years, I would say no. For 5 years goal kicking has been an issue. Heck, forgetting the 2 back to back straight sets exits, back in 2020, we lost to mediocre Fremantle and bottom 4 Sydney consecutively due to goal kicking which cost us a finals spot. I really donât mind losing, but the way in which we continually lose does my head in.

NON-MFC: Round 11
GWS can do the entire comp a massive favor here and knock off these [censored]. If there is ever a club or set of supporters that deserve to be a rabble for this long, it is the Carlton football club. Charlie Curnow is the biggest [censored] of all. His cringe grab the jumper celebrations is laughable. So many times he celebrates in such a way only for them to lose anyway. đđ There is no player more overrated. His best is top 5 worthy, but his worst doesnât even make the top 40.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Never in my life would I ever imagine seeing Melbourne and Tottenham finally breaking their trophy droughts, but, here we are! God, imagine if we can knock off Sydney, beat St Kilda going into the Kingâs Birthday match leveling the ledger. I will start to truly believe again. The players will too and will put up a fight against the Pies. I am just in a good space of positivity at the moment. Please Melbourne! đ

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
The lack of coverage surrounding the win on Sunday on the likes of SEN is laughable. Sentiment is, âBrisbane were horribleâ⊠if someone astute like Josh Jenkins, who is typically right with his predictions and analysis wrote this game off can be proven so wrong surely tells us that the win up in Brisbane has a lot more merit to It than that? Absolute joke that the [censored] Andy Maher and his radio show decided to lead off and focus on St Kilda and West Coast of all the [censored] clubs. They were more than happy to lay the boots in the first 5 rounds but fail to seriously backended the impressive win against serious opposition. This win shouldnât be underestimated and I hope we seriously put Sydney to the sword and prove to the rest of these inbred [censored] that this club is on the way back!

We're Not Dead Yet - The 2025 Season
Not big on what ifs, but if he plays in 2023 finals series, we beat Collingwood and potentially make the grand final. Underrated player in terms of defensive impact.

PREGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
If we win, we are well and truly back in the conversation for the 8. Beat St kilda the week after and go into Collingwood with nothing to lose and suddenly itâs become somewhat of a blockbuster fixture again.

POSTGAME: Rd 10 vs Brisbane
LFG! Suck [censored] Willlie Rioli and Port. Bottom four where you belong with NORF, Richmond, West coast đđđđđ

NON-MFC: Round 10
Life truly is a mystery and cruel. You have good people like the Selwoods, Jim Stynes and innocent kids like Jack Davey perishing so young and then you see the likes of Crisp breaking all sorts of record and Maynard rolling around, alive and it just makes you stop, think and shake your head.

Vale Robert Walls
Honestly, one of the best footy minds to have ever been involved in our sport. Not because of bias and that he was one of our bigger supporters (tipped us for the flag in 2018 and still believed in our capabilities during the 2019-2020 period), but his footy insight from both a playing and administrative perspective was first class and he certainly wasnât afraid to speak his mind and give Carlton well deserved bakes during their bleakest years. He bled for that club and you could tell that when he spoke it wasnât out of pure emotion, but out of a genuine knowledgable view of the game. R.I.P.

NON-MFC: Round 09
Getting really sick of people disrespecting GWS. Yeah, have they gotten favoritism from the AFL? For sure, within good reason as they are in non AFL territory. But, if you canât recognize the development program they have put in place which makes them one of the better organizations in the league, whilst being able to retain players then you have no idea. Also, asides from the GF, their performances in lopsided crowds in big games have been admirable. To take down genuine ferals like Collingwood in a Prelim and being a whisker away from making the Prelim against a red hot Pies in 2023 and now 4 in a row against Geelong in Geelong is something to be respected They are also a club who traveled the most over the last few seasons. To back up week in, week out is testament to them. They have done enough now to warrant more respect imo.

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
If thereâs a son of a wh0r3 that I wouldnât mind seeing Kozzie get rubbed out on, then itâs Watson. Would love for someone to knock that pos out. Smug sob

Mental Health Awareness
Just got caught up with all the fiasco, but is getting really tiring how trivialized mental health has become. The amount of nonsense that is coming from Bailey Smith and Willie Rioli is a joke. Are they really suffering from mental heath issues? Letâs look at those 2.. The former consistently cried about his anxiety and mental health issues, but then carries on like a [censored] and takes cheap shots at the club and those within who did their utmost to care, nurture and and protect him. Then, we have Rioli who also cried about mental vulnerabilities threatening fellow work colleagues with physical bodily harm and without consequence? You just look at the stark contrast to the treatment of Oliver and our club from the media and itâs night and day. Imagine if the member of the public threatened Rioli, or god forbid Dale did it.. would they receive the same sort of care and support? For some reason, people, the media are doing their best to protect vermin like Rioli, but constantly taking cheap and unnecessary shots at Oliver during his trying times. Absolute joke. Effed up. Really feel for Those who are TRULY suffering from mental health and not those who play pretend like the Bailey Smithâs and Willie Rioliâs of the world.

POSTGAME: Rd 07 vs Richmond
While waiting at the airport to board the plane, and having just re-watched most the match again, considering the humid like weather (22 degrees) I would just take this win and move on. Skills were off, but was partly by the product of the condition imo, and effort was there. 5 day break in addition, but this was a match we should win and did win. Should beat West Coast too, but the true indicator for where weâre at will be against the Hawks and Brisbane in back to back weeks thereafter. Preserving Gawn and May in tough conditions was the common sense thing to do. Richmond and West Coast prove there are no easy matches. West Coast, with luck could have beaten Brisbane. Just bank this and move on. We beat Richmond because we are a good side, not because Richmond are necessarily [censored].

NON-MFC: Round 06
I swear, everytime a combination of Geelong, Hawthorn, Carlton or Collingwood meet, it always feels like an incestual meet up. Donât get me started on that loser, a full grown man who always dresses up like a cat, full make up and everything. đ€Ąđ€Ł

Tom Fullarton
Well said, mate. Listening to Gawn post match on 3AW, it sounded a lot like he was happy with Fullartonâs debut and appreciated the assistance he got in the ruck. Nobody rated that dumb American and said dumb American nearly got the Pies into a GF off his own boot. Not saying Fullarton will become a world beater, but if he gets a decent go at it and can become half as good as someone like Darcy Cameron, who I think gets underrated year in, year out, then we would be pretty happy Iâd reckon. If he does come into his own and becomes a solid contributor, it could release a lot of pressure on JVR.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Actually insane to me how some neutrals would discount Gawn as the GOAT ruckman due to his goalkicking. There are plenty of GOAT caliber athletes who have the equivalent deficiency and Djokovic is a prime example. Even throughout his prime years as good as he is/was at hitting and winning low percentage points, his overhead shots and net game remains a glaring weakness compared to his fellow direct competitors in Nadal and Federer. The amount of errors he has produced on the overhead especially is still quite surprising. Make no mistake, similarly, Gawn after this performance when the team needed it the most makes him greater than Dean Cox. 18 contested possessions and still gut running into positions to impact play with his marking ability is just insane.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Nah, as Craig McCrae has said many times that he values players than picks because winning is the potion that drives success. We need to win games and winning attracts top talent.

POSTGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
The most fun and enjoyable match I have watched us play in at least 1 and a half years I reckon. The forward wave running whilst implementing great team defensive pressure is what we have grown accustomed to. Next 2 highly winnable and Hawks proven not to be as invincible as most like to believe. If we are real with ourselves, we beat Richmond and West Coast easily and suddenly 3 in a row going into Hawthorn⊠Letâs hope to god this is first of many wins and the new standard going forward..

PREGAME: Rd 06 vs Fremantle
Honestly, the club has sapped the energy out of me, so the only thing I have going for me right now is that I leave for Europe after the Easter weekend for the tennis clay court season. Will still go out of my way to watch us, but I canât believe it is round 6 and itâs already season over. Still yet to fully sink in. We were top 4 last year when they smashed us by 90 odd and even when we were good, we still struggled against them. It is arguable that the loss in the Alice started this free fall. God help us..

The Luke Beveridge Thread
[censored]⊠I thought this was a joke/meme I saw on X/Twitter⊠As previous comments alluded to, Beveridge is literally Goodwin 2.0. Plays favorites, stubborn in the sense of selections, forced heavy changes to the list post flag, game style/gameplan not very noticeable and in terms of philosophy, very similar in regards to how they coach teams. Iâd much rather we search for the next McCrae or Kingsley. Jaymie Graham is highly rated during his 3-4 years at West Coast including a flag as forward coach and with further 2 experience at Freo, he may be worth the risk to try and regenerate the list as I still think we are good enough if properly managed. Whatâs there to lose with a new president incoming in addition?
