Time to go Goody?
Independent my [censored] .Independent is Peter Jackson going through the club with a machete. We paid some guy from the All Blacks to tell us everything is good and we just need love. Its the same board minus Roffey with Goody and Richo still running the show. Throw the supporters who wanted blood some scapegoats like Stafford: "It was his fault we couldn't score" , meanwhile its got worse under Chaplin. Just maybe it had nothing to do with Stafford all along? hmmmm.... I wonder who the common denominator is??

Time to go Goody?
Id settle for losing while being watchable if there was any progress with an attacking game style but we have actually gone backwards. Its worse than its ever been, averaging 60 points a game and getting flogged. Why any supporter would bother going to the footy to watch us play is beyond me.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
A lot of us could see exactly this coming two years ago after two straight sets finals exits. Im not sure we should have sacked Goodwin, however, we sure as [censored] shouldn't have extended him before another straight sets exit.

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
The problem was assistants arent dumb, they know when a ship is sinking. Any assistant with options was never coming here, we were down to Goodwin's mates and thats exactly what we got in Bassett and Jones. Ill never blame the assistants as they are pretty much servants to the coach. This is all Goodwin's and the boards cluster f

POSTGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
RIP Goody fan club. Hope you guys that wanted him to hang around are enjoying the season.

Time to go Goody?
Why would you want that? How could you trust this board to get anything right? They are pretty much the same people who approved a Goodwin extension BEFORE another straight sets finals exit. The club is lead by morons. 3 years after a flag and we already need the AFL to step in again. 😂 If you don't laugh you'll cry.

Time to go Goody?
Played not to lose by 10 goals. Embarrassing gutless coach who couldn't coach a semi attacking game plan if his life depended on it.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Fitter than he was last year by a mile but not impacting games in the same manner he once did. Ive been an Oliver hater so to speak but I dont think the coach is doing him any favours (much like the rest of the list)

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Checking in on your thoughts about our heart and soul after another horrible performance? Thank god we have our heart and soul for another 3 years, absolutely blessed and a great list management decision.

Time to go Goody?
6 goals, and there ends yet another Goodwin "bore the living [censored] out of the fanbase" masterpiece. I can handle losing, but [censored] me would it hurt us to lose (or win) in an entertaining manner for once?

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Dont care, the club is already in free fall and the game has changed. We need a modern day midfield dynamic and Viney can only play one position.

Harvey Langford Rising Star nomination Rd 3
The coach runs a tight ship, as has been the case for a few years now, there are standards to be met for some players and the coach coddling and overlooking them for his favourites. Anyway, well done to Harvey, played a great game. Showed up our multi million dollar midfield in terms of clearances and actually tried to be aggressive with some ball movement. Fingers crossed Goody isnt around long enough to ruin him.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
With Trac and Koz, hope a new coach brings some excitement and can convince them to hang around (that should have happened this year, wouldnt surprise me if they are too far gone now), if they cant do what you have to do and get Jason Taylor some picks and let him cook.

Petracca & Oliver at the Dees in 2026?
Ive gone from wanting Oliver gone to now saying you might as well keep him and see what a new coach can do with him given what you'd get back for him is sweet FA. Buying high and selling low is not the way. Would be more than happy to move on from Viney for nothing however, his value is only going one way in the next 3 years and we need to get some youngsters into the midfield.

Time to go Goody?
The time to be bold was a couple of years ago when his value was high. There is nothing bold about trading someone at their lowest value. We get what we deserve as a club for sitting still and expecting 2021 to happen again. Good clubs/coaches turn over the list and evolve their game plan constantly year on year, not only once the bird has flown and its all too late.

Goody on Unfiltered
My point was despite winning it was obvious to see for anyone with a brain that the issues with the club started around this time and instead of denying any issues perhaps we should have been a bit more "vulnerable" then before it got to the stage it did last year.
-
Goody on Unfiltered
The hell are you talking about? Goody and Pert denied there were any issues for ages. Hard to give him credit as a supporter base for being vulnerable now after he wasted our window with his head in the sand. If anyone was saying "just shut up and let wins do the talking" it was the club in 2022-23. Can almost guarantee if we didnt have the year we had last year they'd still be denying any issues.

Trade Targets
Each to their own but I think the flag ship has sailed. Particularly under Goodwin. MAYBE a new coach could revitalise this list though with a less predictable and taxing game plan and magic could happen. Worked for Collingwood.

Trade Targets
What impact will Tasmania have on trading future firsts? Id assume much harder to get anything decent back for them but not going to pretend im an expert on the AFL's expansion package.

Time to go Goody?
Other coaches would try to isolate Fritsch, Pickett and Trac deep inside 50 and make their direct opponents [censored] themselves. Carrying on from that, they wouldnt have such a heavy reliance on a tall forward structure every single week. Horses for courses. Only one of Oliver and Viney would be here so we can pump game time into Langford. The midfield rotation would run much deeper than just three guys and some token CBA's to others each week. Lindsay and Windsor would be in there. Gawn wouldn't be run into the turf every game. Rested on the bench.
-
Time to go Goody?
Bombing it in there wouldnt even be so bad if we had a structure and correct spacing, give guys a chance 1 on 1, but for whatever reason we always seem to have everyone gathered in the same [censored] 3 metres of space which makes it very easy for opposing backlines. Its absolute rubbish.
-
Time to go Goody?
Like Garry Lyon said on 360 last night, we are 17th for contested marks inside 50 in the past 2.5 years despite running a 3 KPF F50 with Gawn also floating down there and bombing the ball in to give plenty of contested mark opportunities. If that stat alone doesnt tell you all you need to know about how predictably dumb and easy to game plan against we are nothing will.
