  1. I would probably start with dropping Cripps and Walsh. Then probably another 4–6 out of the leadership group. There’s not many that would be safe. Also, you could not even say that it is going to change the result. Can’t see it happening, but it might have been the only way. If Voss is not gone already, it’s only because the Sanhedrin met last Thursday.
  2. It’s alright, apparently he’s got some kittens – probably ginger, with some tortoiseshell and calico. Price of pets these days he’ll make a fortune!
  3. Hoping for an Eagles upset tonight, but it looks like I’m not in luck. Maybe a come from the clouds last quarter? Otherwise, it looks like Netflix.
  4. Probably a fair call as – The Pies are -10 centre square clearances with N Daicos in the middle as opposed to their usual average. My theory is that he runs forward a bit too much and consequently leaves somebody free to hand ball forward to.
  5. Lucky they are not 0–4. I just could not watch that tripe today. Got a laugh out of last nights game though!🤣 Also, Carlton’s continued form is pretty funny. Although, I felt that they got the rough end of the pineapple a few times in the last quarter when I turned it on.
  6. Pretty sure someone was pushing it pretty hard a couple of years ago – monocular?
  7. I thought I saw Kolt help Cripps up off the ground soon after that goal. Om 🙏 Next thing he’ll be snatching pebbles out of people’s hands.
  8. Saw a guy at the Chinese takeaway last night. He got tongue twisted trying to order tofu, because it was listed as bean curd on the menu. So he asked for sweet and sour [censored]! Must’ve been a Carlton supporter.
  9. Sometimes I’m even embarrassed before I post.
  10. Whoever it was that was mowing their lawn after quarter time – you can come in now, all good! 🍻 Replay should be worth a watch.
  11. 🙄🤔😬😀🤣
  12. I was half interested in this morning’s match – since then it’s been a run headlong into mediocrity. Actually watching anything else. I hope the AFL takes note. But I doubt it.
  13. Actually, I think we are the first team this year, but we probably won’t be alone. But you are right about that first quarter. It should get taken apart and put back together under the microscope. Much better second quarter though. The only positive was that after being 42 points down at quarter time, we only lost by 48 points.
  14. Yes, Max is in another class still, even if we should have given him some back up in this game. Agree that Butts, and also Khamis deserved more votes but Bont was outstanding. Baker was very good for most of the game. Dogs are going to be difficult.
  15. Agreed. However, you would hope that the umpiring director/coach and the AFL would make use of these stats, even if nobody else can see them. For instance, it would be useful information to find which of your umpires are more susceptible to crowd noise – i.e. the hometown support in Perth, Adelaide, and against some Vic based teams. It really doesn’t affect the fans too much – everyone already thinks the umpires are rubbish😀. A few favourable statistics are not going to change that, but hiding the statistics might bring out even more conspiracy theorists.
