In the cameos in the pre-season games this country kid looked like he could be a surprise packet. Kicked 3 goals in one quarter against Brisbane. Interested to see how he goes on the big stage at the MCG in a proper league game.

Makes sense for Carlton to be cautious with Cerra and Newman. I suspect they will play against North Melbourne on Good Friday. I think Wade Derksen will make his debut.

I wonder if someone mathematically minded could calculate a ratio of poor onfield performance over the last 3 decades compared to membership numbers, crowds and merchandise sales.
