I think we sometimes forget that Melbourne nuffies are unique in the football world in that as nuffy-ness goes up, so does the ability to rationally analyse football. Every other team's nuffies (Geelong included) seem to follow the complete opposite trajectory - they completely lose the capacity for rational thought after reaching a certain level of nuffydom
