Congrats to May, Gawn, Clarry, and Trac. It was largely a very well picked AA team (Curnow in the forward pocket was a bit NQR though). I just wish they'd pick wingers and actual captains as captains. Being a captain isn't a joke - you have to actually know what you're doing in the position. Kind of like every other position on the ground.

Batting at a roughly 50% punchable face ratio though, which makes me fear for Max's reputation amongst fans of other clubs!

For the historians, are AA captains just always guys who have been around a while? If so, I get it, but again I'd prefer picking a team with Pendlebury in as the AA captain, and Lingers and McLuggage as the wingers. Basically, which team would beat the US All Stars if they played AFL?

Mason Cox just ups his unlikeability factor with every contest he is in.

Mason Cox has form with that knee as a weapon in ruck contests. Carlton's delivery into the forward line isn't very good despite having 2 60 goal forwards in it - which shows it's not your forwards as much as your mids delivering it in, and the pressure they're under when they do it.

Collingwood is going to blow this game open soon I reckon.

Dees fans might not all go to games but I guarantee a massive number of them have great TVs.
