Ben Brown was obviously going to be a star from the first game I ever saw him play. People gave him [censored] for looking like the Hamburgler. All I could think was "North are onto something here."

Bugg has one more crack at it for me. He scored a lot of tickets with me last year up till the Doggies game, burned most of them in that Sydney game, then torched all but one this year through idiotic goal kicking and all-round poor form.

What we do with Nathan Jones over the coming years will be the biggest test of whether we've improved our club culture. Will we do a James McDonald move and set ourselves back 10 years (again) or will we respect his contributions and ease him through the forward-line, then into coaching/retirement?

Well he should just stop trying to get the ball then. That's a defender's job IMO. A good defender should have the ball near him for the least possible time.
