    Aliir's dominance is a lot due to Geelong's poor gameplan and midfield performance. Chip chip chip, pressured kick high into the air, Aliir mark. Not a great plan.

    That's underselling him. Consider Majak Daw or Sam Frost (athletes). Aliir craps all over him in terms of football intelligence.

    At least 2 goals to Port direct from Aliir intercepts. Geelong need to keep it well away from Aliir or else they have no chance.

    Aliir is the best intercept defender in the comp. Lever's numbers are better, and his ability to help set up is better, but we base our entire gameplan on that aspect of the game. Aliir does it in spite of Ken Hinkley having no idea how to use him.

    Aliir showing what happens when you don't drop intercept marks in the backline. 1st and 2nd quarter dees last week had a lot of trouble because of dropped intercept marks.

    Just barely got over a Melbourne-2004 death spiral Dogs last week. Dees and Cats are miles ahead I reckon. If we can get over the Lions tomorrow night, I'd be shocked if we don't get a Dees Cats granny.

    The players are going to love a crowd after most of them going so many weeks without one. Give me a crowd any day over an empty MCG in the finals.

    Barracking is for the home and away season. I just want a quality game. The finals deserve it. Melbourne games excluded of course, they can be as poor as they want as a spectacle as long as we win.

    It would still be weird, but stuff 'em. As long as Goody doesn't give his coaches medal away like Beverage did (not that he would - Goodwin has far to much sense for such a silly display).

    Never rated Brayshaw before this year. I'm sure the coaches love him to death right now, and would only move him if they had a better replacement on the non-Langdon wing.
