Not Elliot! I’ve got a real soft spot for him. He’s a very fair player and if he hadn’t missed so many games there’s no telling how many goals he could’ve had. The bloke is a champion

Howe makes goal kicking look easy

Dunno if things have changed nowadays but I played Footy from about 9 years old until I was 21, never once was I coached on my kicking. In fact I don’t remember any conversations with any player about their technique. Edit: and now that I think of it, the variation in kicking technique was a lot.

Anybody know if any clubs have ever looked at SE Asia for recruits? Seems like a massive pool of athletes to draw from that wouldn’t have to travel to the other side of the world to find success. More asking as I’m curious than put forward that we do it.

He states we’ve found our game again and there are still 3 games until finals… if anything he’s saying that ‘we’ve regained our brand and are starting to dominate offensively BUT there are still 3 games UNTIL finals.’ So no, Christian Petracca didn’t say ‘the Dees are ready for finals’ From a journalism point of view this is factually wrong… In saying that, we are absolutely ready for finals, haha

One player a team does not make. We have 3 games to adjust our forward line. Petracca has been great up forward, Kozzy is getting to work and Viney is carrying the weight of the midfield on his shoulders and doing a fantastic job. Maxy is back in form and Clarry is said to be a week away. It's unfortunate Petty is out but we are 2nd on the ladder and we had to do this at times without Gawn, Oliver and Fritter. There's no reason we can't manage without Petty. There are more upsides than there are downsides at the moment.
