  1. Haha, why Vines?
  2. [censored] Fritta what a goal
  3. Mids getting smashed. We scored 5.2 (from memory) for clearances against Freo.
  4. Doesn’t take away from my point. Richmond’s pressure is really high. If Freo pressured us like this, we would have lost. They are causing us to revert to bad habits (long dump kicks) because of it.
  5. Richmond are applying more pressure than any of our losses and we would’ve EASILY beaten North/Dons if we played like this. We’re playing well and so are they
  6. Richmond pressuring us and taking away our game. They’re playing well
  7. This is a great game. Both teams at about 77% disposal efficiency.
  8. They’ve made it a scrap and that’s how they win
  9. Not trying to be a downer, but Richmond are playing better in this game than both their wins this year.
  10. Viney behind Taranto, Ruckman knock it down right near them, Viney swipes at the ball and hits Taranto in the face. Soft free kick
  11. Pressure is great. Richmond are on. Gonna be a battle
  12. Nice one Fritta
  13. How many times have teams played each other when both captains are ruckman?
  14. Hunner percent, zero argument here. I’ve said it elsewhere on here before but Fritsch has never been strong defensive or pressure wise at all. What has changed is the goals dried up, which made this wayyyyy more evident. Had a look at the last few years and the following is his ranking in our team on averages: Tackles Tackle I50 Pressure acts 2021 19th 8th 14th 2022 24th 7th 19th 2023 27th 15th 22nd 2024 28th 11th 23rd 2025 12th 11th 19th
  15. I think he needed to after Turner went out to be honest. There’s no Lever, so if May or T-Mac go down, we only have Petty as a reliable like for like. If Petty isn’t in our forward line and no Fritsch, then it’s Fullarton and a bunch of smalls VS Vlaustin, Broad and Macintosh in the air…. Probably a bad time.
  16. This is a case for mine of some of the media laying the boots in to a team/coach, wayyyyy too early. They had 5 different coaches between the end of 2020 and 2023 so guaranteed player development in that time will be stuffed. Clarkson has only had this group (which is the youngest list and 3rd most inexperienced for games) continuously since last year. Clarkson can’t fix years of lost development or years of playing under different coaches, in 1 and a bit seasons.
  17. I feel like the chances of Pies beating Essendon VS us beating Richmond should be a lot more than 7%
  18. A rare literal and figuratively cheesy joke found in the wild. What a time to be alive.
  19. What about cheese news?
  20. Nahhh, it’s not really possible to talk about competitive sports without referencing combat. We say teams ‘beat’ other teams all the time.
  21. We kicked straight and our confidence snowballed against Freo so if we’re 1.5 or something at quarter time then it could be a gross night. Early accuracy is a must! Kozzie looked to have been given licence to just go between the midfield and forward line whenever he liked too, which was a major headache for Freo, so just let him do what he wants.
  22. Picket wasn’t happy with Picket that’s for sure.
  23. I reckon I know what it is. I’ll DM you.
  24. Yerp. Never in doubt.
