Please watch more VFL.
Laurie has shown plenty at that level and Woey is developing nicely.Have watched plenty. Laurie is not AFL standard.

Would much rather keep Harmes than JJ. Laurie is not AFL material, not sure on Woey yet.

Dumb question. Home & Away membership get's into the game using Melbourne membership, yeah?

That GC player shouldn't have come back on after the hit from Kozzie's knee. He's only getting sent off now because of that earlier hit.

His skills just don’t suit our game style. He isn’t a bad footy player, he just isn’t a pack busting, contested marking forward that we need/want him to be.
He would be serviceable at a number of clubs that have faster ball movement.
Did you actually watch the game? He crashed multiple packs and took multiple contested marks from doing so.
JVR was horrible.- 1

Bit harsh I reckon. Should have been reduced to one week.
Wrong.

2023 Dee’s forward line
Koz. Naughton / Larkey (either one). ANB
Fritsch. J.Kennedy. Spargo
Emerg: TMac, BB, JVR (replace JK in 2024)
This is unbelievably awful.

I think if the blueprint for success is there in front of you for two years I think you would copy it at least 90% actually. Having understudies working with him means that you'd be producing more coaches in the same mould. So have to disagree there I'm afraid Ham.
Flat out wrong unfortunately, not how it works at all. If that were the case, every team would have the exact same program and there would be 0 need for high performance managers.

Hearing casual fans say we miss Burgo makes me laugh. We're likely running the exact same training program as last year. To blame this on one man leaving is seriously laughable.
Incredibly unlikely that this is the case. Selwyn will have his own program, he won't just copy what Burgo did.

Stupid comment from Ed, simple as that.

Honestly what else is Max going to say when asked about Jackson and his contract?
The same as everyone else and say he isn't sure, instead he did what Max does and say Max things. Good on him.

That happens to all forwards, it's part of the game, you learn to combat it with experience and effort.
It get's called for other forwards and for those that it doesn't, they disappear in games as well.

I was at the game, it was a lousy night for big forwards, Weed competed in every forward entry, I think probably the best 1 disposal game I have seen. And Freo are a snipey team they scragged him at every opportunity, umpires just turn a blind eye to this every week,.
Glad someone said it.
He was held/pushed in every single contest that I saw (Gawn was held a significant amount as well). Some people need to seriously get some perspective.- 2

Such a bad take once again. Try watching the game.

Some demon people think JVR needs more weight and muscle and therefore cannot play seniors this year. That type of thinking is rubbish, look at Mac Andrew !!!!!!
Just because he is being played, doesn't mean he should be.
Clubs DO get it wrong, some players work through it and others don't.- 5

Kicked a 'winning score' last week by our standards, the problem was we gave up too many. Personally, more worried about our pressure and defence.
Not sure why people are so concerned about a winning score, when we had 0 tackles inside 50.
