This whole thread was an unforgivable moz on us last night. 

I think he’ll command a high price and his good is very good but he’s not consistent enough to pay top $ for.

I don’t think he is a sniper (probably some bias in that) but it is clear he likes to play on the line and he isn’t fully in control of that. Not convinced he ever will be. 

we’ve clearly found one here in Windsor but he hasn’t been in the best 10 players on the ground in any of our matches so far so I don’t think we should be upset by the lack of rising star nomination… 

Also just remember that Jaidyn Stephenson and Lewis Taylor have won the award in the last decade. I’m comfortable there remains hope for Caleb if he doesn’t clinch the esteemed medal.

Was surprised there wasn’t more Hawthorn hate. They owned us for a LOT of years.
Their supporters’ innate belief that another dynasty is just around the corner infuriates me more than anything in the game.

He was quiet early but came into the game. 20-odd disposal at 70% wasn’t too far off his average last year.

i recognise he looked hot in the pre-season rolling through the middle but Oliver back has changed his role somewhat so I wonder if he is being unfairly judged.

Apologies if it has been covered but that kid in the youth-sized AFL jersey running around being referred to as ‘the wizard’ after 2 below-average afl games makes me upset.

One of the journos came out tonight and said a likely model would be Tassie will get access to a bucket load of draft picks but there will be conditions on them trading a certain number of those picks

Two things;

1. I don’t think there will be much  compensation for the new club picking up free agents 

2. Our top tier will be old men by that time (Lever, Trac, Oliver well into their 30s and Gawn, May, Viney will be in retirement villages).

Access to the best free agents at a time when our highest paid players are coming off the books my biggest concern. 

We’ll either be paying inflated prices or just won’t get a look in at all.
