True. I wouldn’t be putting my hard earned on the saints but they’re in with a chance of finals so they’ll have a go.

I wouldn't discount the Saints against the Lions this week. Lions have coughed up games against pies and tiges so saints are a chance. That said i reckon it'll come down to our game v the Lions. We beat them in the granny on their home deck last year so we have nothing to fear. huge game.

To concede just 1 point after quarter is a phenomenal effort. North were quite blunt but still, huge effort.

I haven't been her biggest fan but she was good yesterday. I should have given her a vote.

Crows will be tough for sure but remember we had the better of them for 2 quarters as well. Once we match them on the inside, not easy i know, we have their measure. My preference is to win the flag. To put us in the best position to do that we need to beat the Lions and i think we're better than them. Wardlaw was a big loss for them. they are not finishing their good work whereas we have Zanker (having a career best year i reckon) and Tayla. Not to mention Kate Hore. I'm confident we'll win McClelland cup AND the flag. Go Dees.

We have the game to win the lot. No need to fear the Crows. Lions showed how to beat them. Match them on the inside and burn them on the onside. Lions in Rd 10 will be a tough one. If we have Tayla back we're favourites. Zanker and Tayla a formidable double act. Lions do not have the same firepower. I hope Tayla's injury heals and she's fully fit for the business end of the season. she is crucial for us.

a win is a win. we were tough and competitive without being particularly polished. Thought our mids were good, Gilliard very solid defensively and Kate Hore with some class. North have no ambition. Big disappointment tonight. They are hard to beat but offensively offer little. Its been that way for a few years. They're not a contender this year. back on top with 2 rounds to go. Jeez. Watched some of the Western Bulldogs game. they have fallen hard. No wins from 7. Belted by an expansion team and conceding 96 points in the process. I have a soft spot for them given they flew the flag for women's footy with the Dees for a long time but those in charge of the women's program at Whitten Oval have run it into the ground. Big changes needed.

Nice to have a gameday to look forward to after all the off-field nonsense we've been dealing with lately. Reckon our superior fire power will get us across the line but it will be a tough contest. Dees by 10 points In the other big game hoping the Lions can do us a favour against the crows.
