And I so wish he'd done his classic run wide of the man on the mark and really roost thst shot on goal from 50 in the last - his conversion rate on those is solid.

They would have been a very handy 4 points. We really ran out of legs in the last. Delighted for the positive signs from our debutants. XL in particular looks fantastic.

That is so good! Indeed those 3 goals- Trac's mercurial dribbler from the pocket, Sparrrow's stationary bomb from 50 chaperoned by TMac's brutish goal-line bodywork, and Oliver capping off the unstoppable forward drive from our mids. The high water mark of my Dees-watching life.

At first glance the only three words I read in that tweet were "Langford officially out" and I [censored] myself.

I hold perpetual respect and admiration for Fritta for his outstanding effort in our 2021 Premiership. His back-to-back goals in the 3rd reversed a scoreboard trajectory that was drifting dangerously away from us. Hindsight tells us this precipitated a 100 to 7 point spanking, and we were by far and away the fitter side on the night, but at the time I was terrified the dogs were close to breaking it open their way. 6 goals in a GF win. Legend.

My vote is for an all-in brawl between Hawthorn and Essendon after three spiteful scoreless quarters that makes the "Line in the sand" game look like a summer picnic. Outside of that, it could be a tough first couple of weeks for Dean Cox if the Lions get a hold of Sydney in their GF rematch.
