  1. And that's the second post-match press conf in a row he's pulled out that line. The media love having a coach in their gunsights, and now Carlton have a win the barrels will all be trained on Goodwin.
  2. Happy for the club to wait until the night of Monday the 14th to action the sacking so it can coincide withthe anniversary of Titanic's sinking.
  3. Go for the ANZAC ceremony, observe a minute's silence (add another one for the MFC) then head home!
  4. What learnings to we have line of sight on working to be better this time?
  5. The "love" mantra is a crock of [censored]. We've [censored] ourselves royally. After 2021 we talked ourselves up as a dynasty in the making. Hubris exploded with that rearward looking GF MCG big screen replay event during the 2022 preseason. We had the 2022 Entrecote debacle, rumours of off field issues, etc. Signs of resentment building, and no wonder. Imagine being a broad number of our mid-tier premiership players negotiating contracts and being told that the salary cap was tight, while they look across to millin-dollar mids either going off the rails or cracking the sads and getting Presidents and CEOs sacked. No wonder we have a field of players with no unity or system or trust or confidence. And don't get me started on the osteopath cosplaying as Burgess in our fitness dept.
  6. How does Petty drop that mark. Our skills are just so poor.
  7. Yeah, nothing makes you work harder at your job than knowing your position is safe no matter how poorly you perform. 🤮
  8. And of course casey have a bye this week so Kolt can't build match fitness.
  9. A strong whiff of West Coast's post-flag trajectory about us now.
  10. This is demoralising. Now may hobbling off.
  11. To me this sends completely the opposite message. Surely you drop players that aren't meeting expectations?
  12. It's supposed to be every 2 weeks I believe - was it due this week?
  13. They were talking about it maybe being g hamstring related on the telecast.
  14. Some shocking umpiring calls in this qtr
  15. And at 198 cm FullCream is a handy height for a modern tall fwd.
  16. Ok, good on him slotting one :-)
  17. It was Laurie wasn't it? Billings taken off after the bump?
  18. Some old-school biffo following a heavy late bump on Billings.
  19. Fullcream and soda - almost makes a spider, doesn't it?
  20. Nice kick inside 50 by Laurie to Fullarton on a lead... ...and he kicks truly for his 4th!
  21. Good to see Fullarton getting amongst the goals. Didn't Goody have a crack at him during a press conference last year? If so I hope this doesn't preclude him being given a fair assessment for senior selection if form warrants it.
  22. Oh that was a travesty! I let out an audible "Oh come on!" at the replay. My wife asked what I was doing, and now thinks I'm nuts.
  23. Ok, so I know this sounds masochistic, but I took it upon myself to re-watch last weekend's game yesterday. I saw a lot more positive signs than I remembered from watching it live last weekend. I'm more confident that with the skills and run that our ins this week bring, we'll be competitive. Go Dees!
  24. The site upgrade recently apparently requires people to log in with their email rather than their handle - maybe try that?
  25. It's the weekly Aussie Rules roller-coaster. I too am a delusional moron. We will win this.
