  1. It's not just their media department. I rang the MFC on Monday to ask about why my Community series access code hadn't been sent to me, as the MFC e-mail had said. The website at that time was providing the name of an incorrect ticketing provider for ticket access. When I pointed that out, it was conflicted with the information that the MFC members access call centre had on record. Eventually the website was altered to the correct info, but I'd had to point out the error to them and I'd had no access code. I politely pointed out their deficiencies and my dismay at their ineptitude.
  2. I've been to Monday's and today's training. In no particular order.. The best 10-12 we know and will again be our core. Melsham was doing his drills just in from of me. There's minimal difference in his quads, he was jumping off either foot, doing side step jumps then short kicking with either leg. He must have done a power of rehab to be this far advanced so soon after a knee recon. BBB was moving really well, and moving quickly in his leads to the ball. KFY and Verrall are both very mobile and would make other rucks look sluggish if they can maintain this in a game scenario. Taj especially but Dan Turner, Jed Adams and Jefferson all looking very much stronger. Schache doing what he likes best and avoiding contact. Of McAdam, Billings and Fullarton - they are going to have to bring serious game sense, skill and endeavour to be in the best 22. Which is what we really want. Laurie & Taj look like they really want a spot. But the 2 stand outs for me were Marty Hore and Oli Sestan. Hore was in everything, knew where to position himself in the drills, clean, precise, moving really well. Sestan played one drill on the lead out of the goal square. Never fumbled, nialed them from everywhere. Another, he was link man- precise foot skills, clean hands, looking 1 or even 2 moves ahead of the rest. Hope his tank is larger this year - he looks fitter and dare I say a bit trimmed down below the waist. If JT was correct in his summation 12 months ago when questioned about this choice, he said that we couldn't afford to let Sestan slip another year and thought he might be worth a punt. Lastly, Kynan Brown will never let anyone die wondering if he's put in enough effort to get to play AFL. He never stopped. Looks like he has massive tank. Needs 2 preseasons to get 10kg on his frame. FYI
  3. Dazzle, you may well be correct about plans for him regarding the rest of the year, but he's clearly in the photo of the Casey match report. So unless its a photo from some other game against the Dogs, he must have had some game time in the VFL yesterday
  4. For the record, 40 years of medical expertise comes with the posts. But also, I’m circumspect enough to not give anything away to the oppo or breach medical confidence
  5. Senior squad departing. Rest of list on the ground. The new recruits are seriously big units already inc KFW who has a frame to put some more strength to but is still very agile
  6. Only selected side at training but interestingly no Jordon, Hibbo or JVR
  7. May walking very awkwardly on the right leg. No strapping but nowhere near running. 224
  8. FWIW - Turner was in a moon boot at Whitten oval last night. Very proppy on an ankle, struggled up and down the stairs. Melsham’s game was no ringing endorsement of an imminent recall - fumbled, caught with the ball and not often sighted. JVR showed promise, as did Howes and Laurie. Our best defender was a Casey player in jumper 79, played FB. Solid unit, mobile, seemed to be the General down back (Casey player list still not confirmed on MFC website so apologies that I can’t give the aforementioned a name). Mitch White was solid until he went off with a bad corkie
