Depending on how he conducts himself between now and retirement I can see him being welcomed back post career. His boofhead mate at GC less so.

As soon as I heard about his retirement a mate and I both said to each other almost simultaneously, three strikes.

Each time he opens his mouth you can sense that he hasn't really got over the fact we punted him.

But the AFL spin machine said all four games were sell outs. They'd give Fox (cough) News a run for their money.

The logo part is too messy and is hard to work out what it is. Just go with the colours. No need for a big stupid logo in the middle of a jumper. There's too many of those on guernseys already.

When we trained at the MCG the centre square would be roped off. Players trained after work and the only illumination when it got dark was the half a dozen or so single lights perched on the roof of the old Southern Stand. During summer we trained on Scotch Oval which is now buried under Melbourne Park. I know it's OUR home ground but it's not like we own the place.

I used to live near VFL Park and always saw it as a soulless windswept dump but it won't be me that has to drive down there to work. If we did move our training base I'd miss getting down to Gosch's a couple of times a year to see the boys train on public holidays. It's lovely on a sunny autumn day.

I like the latest promo. I wonder where it gets shown. Is it just for members or the wider public? I think I'm on record already as saying I have no issue with No.31 posting on our site.

Just turned on the latest game and caught the last few minutes of the first half. The inverted Essendon jumper looks much better than their regular one, I think. It doesn't make them any more likeable however.
