Hate seeing Collingwood win, but love seeing Geelong lose

Are umpires fair game?
-
Twitter was good for a close up photo... 🤮, it looks mid radius/ulna, hopefully nut humerus (either way not funny) 3-4 months a good outcome

Glad we don't have these ump Appalling frees in fwd line, cost 3 goals now

PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs

Problem is, if we get behind him, we'd always be 3rd in line... -
PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs

This would be unusual for us, we've never (IIRC) used a tall as sub But, I think it's a realistic prospect as the one concern I have is Lobb in their fwd line, he's the one I think Tmac would go to and the others shuffle out Tomlinson Also, if we lose a fwd, or a mid/sml to injury, we have plenty of cover If we lose a back to injury, it would be Tmac back and a hole up forward JVR-sub could be the strategy 🤔 -
PREGAME: Rd 01 vs Western Bulldogs

Been wondering why so little mention of JVR so far? Genuine Q... Have I missed something? Or has his progress been slow? I thought he was close by end of last year, and while Tmac provides a big lug target, I don't think he's a superstar... I was keen to see JVR early this season in the Tmac or BBB role Would've thought Tmac back an option with JVR forward -
Works Thanks 👍

The political machinations at Collingwood

They are both consistent aren't they? Article states AFL Club Support member Club note states AFL members not eligible Actually, the article is poorly written and confuses Barry Cassidy opinion with example of the specific Member, and the 15k/85k number doesn't seem right given Melbourne has a 42k/23k ratio with similar categories and some similarity in rules Melbourne has MCC/ MFC (basic/premium) - for a long time the only difference really was a Vote, then they threw in some steak knifes -
They're posturing... We should do the same Postpone any Weed trade until Grundy done and dusted Can Weed become a poor man's Cam Pedersen... 🤷♂️ Loved 2018 Pedersen ❤️💙

Hawks racism allegations (merged thread)

While I'm sure a significantly larger shift in culture for First Nations students, those statements apply for any student... -
Should have asked him to make that choice a day or two ago maybe 🤷♂️

Wow Yze dodged a bullet... Seriously that joint is cursed
-
I get that most of Harmes' strengths we have plenty off, and he's coverable in many aspects But the tagging element I feel is somewhat a competitive advantage for him, has been very useful against strong mids
-
Loved his running style If WCE can sharpen his disposal, he'll be weapon for them

Essentially yes, you're correct We should also recognise it provides context and different perspectives that can help broaden understanding -

No just responding to Lord Nev's sarcasm... following on from his criticising me of diminishing the current allegations, for calling out the way Caro presented the historical context, and the label "fresh allegations", where the book is 4 years old (and Caro wasn't reporting outrage at the time) and the fresh perspectives of non-indigenous players who stressed their experiences "should not be compared to those published in the cultural safety review" If it were a more balanced and proportional reporting of historical context - I'd be fine with it... But that wouldn't present as strongly in support of the current narrative and drive headlines.
