Some are getting ahead of themselves. Hope the playing group, aren't. I'm sure the coaches won't be. It is so easy so drink from the bath. We have to be switched on against any opposition. MFC haven't earned anything yet. The past usually describes the future, and as favourites or front runners we have been disappointing. This week is our crucial game. One game at a time, even one quarter at a time, or one moment, could decide where we finish. C'mon Dees play in the moment.

An important game for us. We need to continue our winning momentum. Lose and we play the Tige's with our colours lowered. Win and we will have a good chance against them. Hate to see us go 4 and 2, after a great start. Clark is a smart coach. It won't be easy. Hopefully our brain trust can predict his plan, as well as change ours on the run, so as to not give them a sniff. I should have confidence, but we all know, MFCSS. Really we should win easily. Our effort, tackling pressure, swarm of runners, less clangers (except for a few dropped marks), breaking lines, speed of ball movement, marks in 50 (attack and defence), forcing the opposition to play defensive against us, flexible game plans, nullifying dangerous opposition players, good decision making, our best 6-10 players all up and about, the confidence, getting plenty of looks at scores, pressure for positions, 2nd game at our spiritual home in a row (tigers game will make it 3), we are fit, strong and smart, creative play makes us unpredictable, nothing like training with a smile, we have the right support staff, Casey training facilities appear to be helping, not much going against us at the moment (May is our first real hurdle, not including BB), if we take our opportunities to score goals more often and hold all our simple marks we have it. Go Dees.

Been thinking, there must be some niggles (injuries) occurring. We cannot be that lucky. Rest for those who carry something or need management. Give some young players a go when there is less pressure to perform, anymore than doing a role. Lockhart, Bedford, Bowey, Laurie, Chandler, D. Smith, not sure about Baker (good time to find out). No one has mentioned Hore. How is he travelling? Petty is listed as a forward on the MFC website. Does anyone know where he has been playing in those VFL practice matches?

Put the feet up for a few rounds Maysie. Reset yourself, come back strong, get that All Australian reward, and lead our backline to September. Here's to a quick recovery.

Hawthorn coming back from the west will give us an advantage. Hawthorn's forward line really isn't strong or tall. Suggest, Petty will get the call up over Majak, for the May replacement. Though they could go with Hibberd. One change is enough for a winning side. Jetts, Jones, Melksham need to get more involved if they want to stay best 22. Hoping Jordon just had a bad day and will be up for the Hawks. Sparrow medical sub again.

It shows Goody's modern football capabilities, in that he can easily and successfully (so far), integrate high profile coaches onto his team. Choco, Richardson and Yze, have fitted in well. The game plan, with the ability to change gears and strategies is new to this team. We aren't getting overrun and can withstand a barrage before taking over again. Intelligent play, with the team apparently able to follow instructions.

Part of Collywobbles doing so badly and us doing well, is that Trac may be less interested in their big bucks.

Worked it out quickly. Good coaching, saw him push his opponent away before taking off. Would have been other skills as well. Great game, and tagged. O'Connor did a good tag last game, so even more impressive improvement.

We are good at nullifying the opposition. Four weeks in a row, made them look 2nd tiers. Was Duncan, Miers, Tuoy or Guthrie playing. Great game plans Coaches. Good maturity to not get overrun. Shame we give them a look in with some basic skill error. Stayed switched on for the 4 quarters. Don't drink from the bathwater, it is a long way to go. Oliver, Viney, Max, Trac Lever, Langdon, Salem, Hunt, Fritta, Brayshaw, good all day. Others playing roles and having some impact at times. A bit worried about Jetts, Jordan, Melksham (benefit of doubt for first game of season) and Sparrow's game. Some changes this week. Marking practice and concentrate when it is your time, (don't get ahead of yourself), Very few unforced errors with ball disposal. Swarm of Dees in attack and defending. Working for each other. How many times did Tmac get his arms chopped or his head hit? More than competitive. 4 - 0 wow. Go Dees.

We are back at the G. For those seeing it there, enjoy and be the 23rd player. Angry, ruthless and effort for 4 quarters, put the bodies on the line and take our opportunities. Thought we lost it during the week. Heard an interview with a player where she said, treating it like a normal game so we don't stress. Need to be ready to play finals football, pressure, pressure , pressure. It was far too easy for some of the Adelaide players. When McNamara went down we should have put Bannan out on the wing for her speed and ability to break lines.

Good year Dees. No lateral movement, no plan to create space for us, everything rushed. Adelaide deserved the win, marking and getting the ball out of their backline. They played better pressured footy.

Yes, terrible caller. C'mon Dees, get two quick ones. Crows are marking everything. We are trying hard, just don't have a system that works. The Tarrant miss set us back. Need to get the ones that are easy, no goals.

Their backline is beating us. They tried to be a bit smarter with the delivery into the 50, but it didn't work. We have our backs to the wall. Hanks with plenty, Paxman not there in the last 8 minutes, Scott nearly, as with Zanker who missed a set shot. Not much from L. Pearce yet. Mithin, Gay and Heath ok, our backline is not dominating. We are getting hands on the ball first. The pressure is being brought by us. Paxman in everything, Zanker looks on, Scott nearly, Hanks playing in tight. Crows getting intercept marks in our forward line.

Many are so scared of pressing the wrong button as it may break the internet. It is individual, though those who are a different generation experienced the introduction of so much technology. Some of it a bit fragile and temperamental. Some hated fiddling with it, some used to give it a good bash to tune it up. Takes all types. Possibly, those who don't like it, were humiliated or punished when attempting to be savvy with the electronics or other explorations. The non curious, who don't like to discover stuff or don't get it, have as much right to be able to acquire tickets and have equal access to community activities. There is a technical divide in our society, even if it is self inflicted in some cases. Ticketec and other groups know this. You can probably phone them or go to their offices and get assistance.

To many problems associated with way. Loyalty, injury and not being managed well, reduced development, relocation costs and related family/friends upheavals, losing time with the primary club and so losing intimacy and bonding periods. Only benefit I can see is the experience a player will gain. The team in need could pluck a ~27 year old from the country or lesser leagues (if the rules allowed it), who has some craft already developed. Making for someone's dream to come true.

Good to see Daisy training. Let's hope she pulls up well tomorrow so as to give her a chance. What a tough person and inspirational for the team to do it for her if she cannot play. Go Daisy, go Dees.

Much rather see them encourage loyalty. Pay players extra pay, above the cap, for staying at the same club. Clubs get extra funds for retention. So encourage more buy in, and development by the clubs, in the players. Will reduce poaching. Players with home sickness or emotional distresses can have a please explain. The fringe players will eventually get a go if good enough, or will be traded/delisted at the right time. Manage their list better. Bad list management, such as Richmond can be fixed at the end of season. Get someone from outside the AFL if they lose important structural players that can't be replaced. After a please explain to the AFL hierarchy. They want supporters loyalty, how about the hierarchy show some mutual obligation to us with player retentions.

It was the cats

We have the momentum with us. Adelaide oval may be just as unknown to the Crows. Agree about Zanker, she can dominate when she is on and is a game winner. We are an effort team and Crows will have to be up for a fight, we can play with skill and flair. We are also well rounded, pace and good mixture of talls, shorts and strong bodies. Hope Bannan gets her hand on it a bit more, excitement plus. Magee can tackle, hard! Class from Gay and Hore. L. Pearce and Cunningham (good game last week), strong and determined. Hanks, Mithin and McNamara getting the ground balls and creating link and connection. Tarrant, Colvin, Birch, Lampard, Downie (better for the run) and Heath to repel the Crows. Parry and Sherrif play their roles. Scott to continue hitting the goals. Finally our, see ball, get ball, go hard and be smart, Paxy. Haven't heard if we had injuries. So, I think we go in unchanged, unless Daisy wants to play. Go Dees

I think he had problems finding separation. Weid will benefit from an open forward area that comes about by quick ball movement. Hoping he works well with Big Ben.

Geelong appeared to have a go slow in the quarters. My guess is that they try and save energy so they can hit hard during time on. It didn't seem to work well against the Hawks as they failed to transition well between fast and slow play. They had the green GT sign up but found it difficult to get the contested ball. The Hawks errors kept them in it. Melbourne's fitness will give us the edge if they use to play the GT sign in time on. Will the Cats start the keeping off game? Can we pressure them enough so as to get the turnover, or play man on man with some zoning and flood so they can't find an avenue forward when they decide to "go". Our style is to still get the ball and go fast. Though we are learning to temper ourselves. The Cats seem to flood the forward area, force the turnover and then retain the ball? I wouldn't trust them to play the same way against us and they may try the manic style themselves. Goody won't play the dour game. He loves the high scoring exciting style. I wonder if Geelong can go with us?
