I still reckon it'll get done tomorrow, just opinion. We'll probably accept unders but if it allows us to get May and therefore improve our team, who cares. Tom Boyd was traded for pick 6 and Ryan Griffen (still good at the time), Weller was pick 2, Hogan is worth double of those two even combined, so what gives this foolish man any reason to believe we will accept just 5.

Also heard this, however I heard part of the reason was the whole Brayshaw incident and Angus' quote in the media after it happened, which was: "If this has happened at a nightclub or on the streets, it's an assault," Brayshaw told an AFL website podcast on Tuesday. "You're probably getting jailed for something like this, I would imagine ... I just can't believe honestly that it's happened." I'm a little skeptical of that being part of/the reason, but just what I heard.

I'm excited to see what we can do with the haul we receive. I'm surprisingly not that upset with Hogan leaving. For what it's worth Sam McClure has said that Gold Coast won't accept anything but overs for May this season, and will happily let him walk in FA next year and take the compo pick. Surely a top 10 pick for him and KK would be overs?

So would I, I may be in the minority but I'm a massive fan of Steven May. Lot of the knocks on him are his aggression: getting suspended and giving away a lot of free kicks, but by god who wouldn't have anger problems playing for Gold Coast. I think we are better side with May instead of Hogan when taking into account relative KPF and KPD stocks.

Think he's gone boys. I really like Jesse and think he's a very talented player, but if its fait accompli that he will return to Perth at some point, it makes sense for him to be moved on when we can maximize value. Heard from a couple of sources (that could be complete [censored]) but thought I would pass them on. One was from a guy who was accomplices with a board member who said that he will be sent to Freo in a package involving Andrew Brayshaw. The one I heard today at work was from a colleague who is good friends with one of the MFC players who said Hogan is involved in a 3 way trade with Freo and Brisbane with Neale included, unsure of what was coming to us however.

Hannan was very, very good against West Coast. Think if he is fit he comes in for JKH.
